Our run to the finals

They were 6 points clear last year, and sent out a full strength side in the final round against an also-ran side. Flogged em too. We should not count on getting any points from Melbourne.

We shouldn't. It only comes this close to needing others to win due to dropping games we should of won.

Cowboys and co out of the 8 and injuries still will have a say on it. NRL is never as straight forward as it seems atm

I don't see Storm losing another game. So that will put them enough ahead to rest guys against us. 4th or 5th is the place to finish. Means weeks 2 and 3 of the finals are in Sydney.

If we finish 5th and the Warriors finish 8th do we get the elimination final in Sydney or do we have to play that game in NZ?

Given it is unlikely we can finish higher on the ladder than 4th may it not be more beneficial to just finish 5th to have a home semi (at Allianz) against the Warriors?

Sorta like England deliberately losing to Belgium in the Football World Cup to get into the easier side of the draw.

Beat the Warriors, get into week two and then who knows?

Well given the way the top eight is shaping up you would have to think finishing 5th would almost be as good as finishing 4th?

A home game at Allianz against the Warriors as opposed to a 4 v 1 game against the Storm/Roosters.

Still have to beat the Warriors to progress to Week 2 but not the worst thing.

At the end of the day the best thing for us is to win as many of our five games remaining as possible and go into the playoffs in good shape.

I told you Maloney is rubbish, he hasn't made a single tackle tonight, or made an assist. He shouldn't have picked himself and played whilst he has an injury and technically speaking isn't in the Bronco's roster, what a selfish bar steward.Thaiday is rubbish too considering the massive wage he is on (rumoured to be at least $750k plus TPA's and he is allowed to stay at Wayne's house when he is in the city) and he is supposed to be a senior player.

They have the same issues as us. Inexperienced players can't keep the intensity for more than a few games.

The point is they want to be the best club. Bennett was in a GF not long ago, a ben hunt knock on away from winning it really and yet they still would've fired him after this year if Bellamy had of said yes, because they want the best.

They certainly aren't going to cop 3 years of very little improvement which is why hook didn't last there, and why despite being the most successful coach ever Bennett is still under pressure. Unlike like our club they do not accept mediocrity.

Brisbane haven't suffered our injuries or close to it but it hasn't been a walk in the park for them injury wise. They have a makeshift halves pairing, injuries in the other halves positions at times this year, heavy origin representation, New signings coming in and a lot of very young players. They have all the same excuses to make as we do.
