If it’s nots a like for like comparison stop arguing it with me. You were happy for the comparison to be made earlier in the year when the sharks spine was changing every week and Maloney was playing good and getting raved about in here, but now it’s not fair to compare them? Lol get outta here.

Put it this way if we had moylan instead of Maloney on Friday I think it’s very unlikely we concede 50. Moylan was off the rails last year out every other night and on drugs according to posters on this forum and yet never ever played that bad.

No I commented on individual game performances. You are the one that said it is finalised. End of the season we get to prelim Final we improved. They get to week 2 semis they improve.

Again using opinion as fact.

I said it is finalised???? Lol f**k off. At 12.24 in this very thread I said the exact opposite! “Maloney has it in him to turn it around...” your comprehension is terrible if you didn’t get that lol wtf.

And where did I say anything was a fact??? Unless stated otherwise everything I say here is just my opinion. Again your comprehension skills are lacking.

We would need to get Moylan to play 3 games of SOO and then have somebody land on his foot so he couldn't train, surround him with the youngest team in the NRL and then we could do like with like. You are right, it wouldn't be 50 point conceded, it's more likely to be 70 if Moylan was playing. I doubt we would have got us to 18 points either. We had the worst attack in the NRL inside the red zone when he played with our young team.

These discussions are pointless, "who is the worst best player" is dependant on many factors not least of which includes rep games and the players they have in their team. Form is temporary and class is permanent. Moylan may eventually have a better career than Maloney, he certainly has the skill, does he have the attitude? Maybe Flanagan, to give him credit he seems to be good at getting players to perform, can get inside Moylan's head and get him to fulfil his potential. Interesting to watch it unfold.

Bullshit.

Moylan has never been in a team that conceded 50 points, he's a better defender and has created far more points this season then Maloney. That's all fact.

No way to know if he makes much or any difference against Broncos. But there's zero chance we defend worse or have less in attack with Moylan.

Facts which are all easily proven.

I disagree I think we easily play better with Moylan on Friday. Simply he wouldn’t give away the shoulder charge penalty which was at a crucial time in the first half and is a better defender, he tackles better and he isn’t prone to rushing up. He probably doesn’t throw another intercept either since I can’t ever remember him throwing 3 in a season. Maloney’s thrown 2 or 3 in a row.

If it’s pointless discussion don’t take part in it I am allowed to post about it ffs.

Facts shich are zll easily

Yep. Or give away as many f**king dumb penalties.

The broncos game plan was kick behind and run at Maloney, it was so effective they scored 50.

the whole Maloney v Moylan - is it fair to consider as well that Maloney will help our Cap when he is moved on (likely next year), if we had Moylan and if he was playing a good he has, it would pretty much come down to picking him or Cleary for the future, no way we could keep both....

Maloney is signed through 2020 and is on good money.

The only way we can 'move him on' on the end of next season is if he can attract a deal in the ESL which would extend his career beyond 2020, on similar money and which he would be prepared to accept. Taking a young family of four children to the UK is a huge decision.

Yeah if we are talking salary cap let’s not forget Maloney’s lose lips already cost us a TPA deal which meant goodbye Latu.

I’m not going to guess what moylan would’ve cost to resign tho.

12.08... You said unless Sharks go backwards from 5th than it was decided. That was when it became apples and oranges

He did say he would like to do it for the travel.

I agree but the man himself said he'd play over there.

I'm agreeing with you.

Too often we hear comments about a player needing to retire because his time is up but as I always say when you are earning $800k a season I wouldn't retire until there were no more contracts coming my way. Your a long time retired.

We just need a little bit of confidence and a that’ll come from a win or two.

Lets hold it together for six more week, then panic
