Stacey said he "likes a quiet beer". Thats an understatement lol. (historically at least, maybe it is quiet now)

Current Warrior squad:
Luke Metcalfe wins 100m sprint
Freddy Lussick wins 3k run
Bunty wins bench press.

Last man standing in an all in fist fight with everyone hes ever played with. He couldnt split Campion, Monty and Awen.

Trying to get Jack Howarth to play for Kiwis but Aussies are after him too. Howarth played in Kiwi As last year. Origin is also an issue due to the rules preventing him playing if he chooses kiwis.

CNK and Marata most likely to be named in 30 man squad from Warriors. No mention of anyone else.

No desire to coach Warriors. Seen whats involved and how hard Webby works. But also said never say never.

Wanted all the same people back for the Kiwis that Madge had but wants Kearney there for the whole tournament rather than the first 3 days like last year.

Very disappointed with Warriors season. Couldnt get the consistency of halves and edges playing consistently each week like 2023.

Thin in the halves this year as Foran and Brown both out. Also no Manu (going to rugby) or Brandon Smith.
Sweating on Jahrome Hughes getting through the finals series unscathed.

Yeah no Brown, Foran, Smith (even if he hadn’t been playing that well) sucks.

There are actually so many Kiwi eligible halves out there, you just know they won’t play for us - Strange, Fainu, Katoa for example. That would be amazing halves depth for the future if they were keen.

I guess Nikorima comes back into the frame? Not the worst if you’re looking for someone who is primarily a running 6. Or Te Maire?

Crossland has been playing in the halves as well as hooker so you’d think he comes into the squad.

100% Footy says we asked Katoa to play this year and he has knocked us back

Maguire was trying to get him for NZ last year and will now be trying to keep him NSW eligible

Katoa moved to Oz pretty young, I don't mind if he choses Origin and Tonga.

If he prefers to play for Tonga sure, but you can't be a New South Welsh Tongan any more than you can be a New South Welsh Kiwi. As long as the rules remain as they are we are going to be the biggest losers.

Of course the likely alternative would be that everyone just played for Australia so that wouldn't work either.

Just blow up Origin tbh

(Actually at this point I wouldn't really care if Kiwis played Origin - it's become it's own thing anyway. Not sure if this would be considered sacrilege though).

I thought you could - that is the actual rule? Luai is a New South Welsh Samoan.

I 100% think eligible Kiwis should be able to play Origin and for the Kiwis. It's B/S they can't but that's Aussie for you. The more players they can suck from the Kiwis the longer they keep their dominance in international league.
