To be honest, everyone was struggling on the deck until Kane led the way. But Mitchell and Nicholls managed to do it too. I think his double hundred has put NZ in the position that we're in and Jamieson has capitalised.

Yeah we’ve never been at the top (and tbh never thought we would be) so very special, our previous best teams were always 2-3. The rankings are always debatable but they are what they are and we’ll enjoy it for now. 17 tests at home without a loss, pretty decent

Late Feb 5 T20s against you. Talk of tests in England but not confirmed.

Given how 2020 was I’m stoked, sad there aren’t more tests

36 wickets in 6 tests for Jamieson. Bond is the fastest Kiwi to 50 in 12 tests.

Keen to see him play in non-NZ conditions although if we get a couple of ENG games they're probably the best pitches for him outside NZ.

Everything he’s done and being 6 ft 8 suggests he’ll be good in any condition

Line is good, gets swing and movement off the pitch, and quickly adjusts his length to conditions. As long as his body holds up, he looks a quality test bowler (and he’s got big potential with the bat)
