Ben Hannant was interesting on 100% Footy.

Said he played under Griffin for 4 years and basically said he isn't up to it and hasn't got with the times of modern footy, doesn't really game plan and doesn't listen to anyone.

It will be interesting if Anthony Griffin head pops up again for a coaching position. I have read when there were rumors surrounding his departure that he could head off to Superleague.

The other thing is his record is superior to some of the protected species coaches that are below him on the ladder. (Brad Arthur)

Ben Hannant had a falling out with Anthony Griffin before his departure from Brisbane. Having a former player who basically has a axe to grind is hardly objective.

Hook’s just been done over by a full-on egotistical narcissist. History repeats, with a little variation.

Hook resigned from Souths Logan after too many club management intrusions by CEO Mitch Brennan. Won a QLD Cup premiership the next year at Redcliffe.

I’d bet a fair bit of hard earned that fugly knut’s been interfering from the get-go, supported by a few idiot disciples at Penrith, and Hook, with his usual integrity and to his credit, has resisted.

Good luck Penrith. I think you’ll need it

It is madness. Showing progress from last year despite injuries. No logic at all. Can anyone recall the last time a team within 2 wins of first place sacked a coach?

Griffin was at two clubs with great resources, a huge amount of juniors and inherited teams built by pretty decent coaches (excluding Henjaks tenure). He's out of his depth.

Brad Arthur may be as well, but he hasn't been given near the same opportunities that Griffin has had.

Two wins from first is not out of his depth.
