Everything about this reminds me of the Stuart-Raiders thing
From the moment Furner was sacked it was known that Stuart would replace him... there was weeks of bullshit before it was formally announced but the simple fact is, the club had assurances that Stuart would come, which is why they ultimately were willing to sack Furner.
I would bet good money Cleary has already given the panthers assurances he's going to coach them.
Ivan's going to be coaching the panthers next year, which absolutely f**king sucks for the Tigers, but it's best they get used to that.
Great news for the panthers, it means they'll keep Nathan which is the only thing that matters for them right now, i dont really blame Gould, he has to do this, if he lets Nathan walk out the door, he's getting fired, that's just how it works in sport. So he's gotta do what he's gotta do to make sure Nathan is signed long term, if that means being an absolute f**king dirt bag and f**king over the tigers.. so be it
