Hey Pantheez,

Good luck Friday, always love a good match vs the Mountainmen.

Expecting a real arm wrestle before the 2d half starts seeing one team chance their hand.

You guys definitely have us out classed on the wing and I'm having nightmares about Segz making our defense look like the under 8 netball team like he's done in the past.

Cleary named the same 17 as the win over the Sharks. Mckendry into the starting side for Lats. I kinda understand Lats going back to the bench as he was much more effective there but I'd be giving RCG a shot at starting over Mckendry at this point.

Anyway Cleary obviously doesn't care about the Tuesday side and we'll have a huge reshuffle on Friday.

That NSW Cup side must be the weakest we have named in some time. Players out of position across the park.

Pretty big gee up. Was expecting soward and Wallace to be rested. But was definitely expecting segeyaro, whare and taylor to return after training well. Despite moylan himself saying he will play I reckon he will be ruled out by our medical staff. So DWZ to fullback, whare to replace him and segs and taylor to return come Friday with API and Cartwright or yeo dropping out

Look at our NSW Cup team. Kinda a giveaway a few players are coming back and a few dropping back. Especially with Jennings & Katoa back in NYC

Dale Copley isn't playing which sux a bit. His defense has been great in the centres/wing.

Otherwise no major injury concerns *touch wood -there's still a couple days left for players to tear their achillies tendon doing a warm up at training

I would much prefer players coming back in at 100% rather than 90-95% and then suffering injury recurrences. A loss is not the end of the world in this game. I don't expect us to have anyone named for origin (Segs may get a surprise call up) so we need to focus on picking up as many points as possible over that period.

I think(or hope) atleast one of Taylor, Whare or Segs will be good to go. IF Segeyaro is back I hope we leave Smith at 6. I know he wasn't that good last year but I thought last week was easily his best game in FG for us, maybe he can build on that. He had a couple nice kicks and is quick with fancy feet, so he can be dangerous.

The NSW Cup team we have named leads me to believe a few will be late inclusions. The fact Whare, Taylor, Seg and even Sowie trained has to mean they are close. I'd say all will fly up tomorrow with boots and see how they pull up.

Makes sense. I had given up on Sowie after the news this week, fingers crossed I guess.

Monday left early. Tuesday training well. I expect he won't play. We play Monday night so it's like 10 days extra to rest it.

Sopoaga is named at 5/8th in NSW Cup. That tells me Seg will play and John/Smith will drop down. Same too with Chris Smith in the centres. They play the Sunday so time to take 20 or so up and bring the un needed back down

He was in the training photos on the website from the weekend

Maybe running and passing, but full contact? I know it hasn't always been accurate, but Spud's sicklist says none of Seg, Soward, Taylor or Whare will play, so we'll just have to see.

What I find confusing is how Whare and Taylor were supposed to be back by the Sharks game at the latest according to reports. Injuries can get worse and I support resting them over the rep round but surely they have to return. Soward and Wallace won't. And apparently segeyaro will be back round 12, but we say one week. I really don't know if spud is being legit or not.

Don't get me wrong but I suspect this is a game where we are resigned to 'losing'.

I think the brains trust is thinking there is no point rushing guys back early in a game where we are long odds to win.

Do the best we can this week, hope for the best and bring the likes of Soward, Taylor and Co back where they are 100%.

I don't expect too many changes from the side that has been announced.
