Panthers v Broncos

Another important game for us in terms of keeping up with the Storm.

Hopefully, we’ll have Luai back and that JFH will overcome his minor injuries.

Sucks that Broncos get two home games but that’s the nature of the circumstances that is COVID.

The interesting thing will be if luia is fit who partners him in the halves may or burton

You'd think May like v Parra. Given Cleary is back next week it makes sense to get the rest of the side sorted and just move May when Cleary comes back

Having Luai and Cleary playing too early before the original 4 to 6 weeks, which was the original slated return is a bit of a concern to me.

I hope Cleary Sr isn't having another pensive overthought at the expense of the team's chances later on in the year.

I'd be resting Fish. Give him time to be fully fit. Replace him with either Martin (Tago to the bench), or Eisenhuth.

Avoided scans, just sore. Sounds like nothing more than the niggles most players carry towards the backend of the year.

Storm is 4 weeks counting from Origin on Sunday. Origin>Bye(1)>Warriors(2)>Broncos(3)>Storm(4). Right from the earliest estimate of when he'll back Cleary said he was aiming for the Storm game
Jarome was 2-4 weeks IIRC. Different injury so his wasn't the same amount of weeks.

I doubt we rush Luai for Brisbane and I doubt Cleary Snr would allow Cleary to come back early for the Storm.

We’re going to need to start rotating and resting players over the last 8 weeks particularly given no NSW Cup so agree with getting Eisenhuth a game here while Fish is a bit sore.

Edwards, To’o, Naden, Crichton, Staines, Burton, May, Martin, Api, Leota, Kikau, Capewell, Yeo, Tago/Kenny, Sorenson, Eisenhuth, Leniu

I think we need to get the backline back in order for this match.
Get Burton into centre and let the full strength backline get it's defensive structures in line.
That is the most important thing coming up to the finals.
We are going to win the comp based on defence if anything, and with so many players out of position we have looked a bit to vulnerable lately.

im concerned with this game - Brisbane played really well last game against us.... they will have the belief to go with us again - dont be surprise if Brisbane pull off an upset

We rushed back Edwards and he was no good. I don't see the need to play Luai. Korisau has been the MVP in our last two games, if he plays we will get them.

Let Burton/May have more time in the halves. They are our replacements if we have injuries there in future.

I would have May and I think the coach will too. Burton is more useful at centre.

We need to get the top side and combinations with time together. Moving Burton gives us the top backline set. We have the pack set and then once Cleary is back need to work out who is the better 14 Kenny or May
