Mansour is worrying me. Seems to be degrading each week. Someone at the club needs to have a chat and see if he's doing ok because he's a gun when in the right head space.

He was the same early on. Then just turned into a beast I have 5 tries scored past his wing so far this year

Our domination in the forward department basically excluded the backs from the game, there wasn’t a lot of attacking ball for them.
Mansour was easily found out a couple of times in D, and certainly didn’t have much of an impact in the game.
You would think he would be firing up with all the contact talk

Agree. He was the reason why the Cowboys scored their last try. He didn't number up properly and it ended up being Whare who came across (too late) to try to cover.

It seems to mostly be a positioning thing. I am not sure why they haven't fixed it. We should expect every team to target his side now.

I have played a bit and even coached. 1st part of defence is Mark your man. From the wing in have the sideline to help

Name one player ftom either team who had the dcsles tipped more against him than Leota?

You take the good with the bad... but with Leota thats a one sides saying.

Mansour did more in our favour than he did go hurt us. Momentum swung against us on Leotas first involvement. But hey ignore all that shit. Facts are frowned upon in arguments here.
Mate, surely you're taking the piss. Mansour was ordinary tonight and let in 2 tries through poor positioning.

Then you're comparing to a bloke off the bench that other than a drop on the play the ball had a pretty decent game.

Yes it shouldn't be a hard lesson for him at all. Not for someone who has played as many games as he has. It is our biggest defensive weakness now by far. I don't think we have been scored against through the middle so far this year - but Mansour's mistakes in positioning and missed tackles have probably lead to at least 5 tries that I can remember, and possibly more.

His aggression in defence was second to JFH only. Kept the middle tight. Ran hard, tackled hard. Scored a try. Made a couple of errors granted & I’m not saying he was best on ground but there was a reason he was left out there for an extended period despite making errors, because he was making a positive contribution otherwise.
Cowboys gained momentum the very second he came on and got involved.

Our worst sets of the game were while he was on the field. He was the momentim ssinger yet again... only yhe momrntum he gave was to the oppodition.

First touch was a drop ball. Second touch was being driven back 10 metres snd destroying a whole set by removing every ounce of momentum we had.

Throw in a soft penalty to the Cowboys... momentum swung agaist us when he came on. Name one player in our side with a worse effect on us. You deadset didnt watch the game if you thought there was one.

All except for 4 tries came in that side. When the winger scores and no one in front that is him. A few others have been the inside guys Atleast it is round 4 so can fix it

So much momentum they scored one try when he was on the field... when we were a man down... because Mansour made another misread in defence.

Leota out.

Yes he's been bad but that whole side has been awful and you can understand why he doesn't trust anyone inside him. Not sure its fixable with the current players imo. Who knows

Second touch was the defensive blitz from Cowboys.
Pretty sure there were plenty of soft penalties against us - Badger was doing his best. Singling out a player in that refereeing performance is low even for you.
Already named the player - Mansour.

Momentum is more than points scored.

Field position. Possession. Metres gained etc. All swung from our favor to the Cowboys. We fought incredibly hard to maintain momentum as long as we did. It swung quickly in Cowboys favor though. Wel did dnouhh to minimise points against us. But f**k me he made it do much harder.

He lost 10metres. Put us on backfoot the whole set. We finish with 10metres gained and you defend it? On his second touch after an error?

Momentum went to Cowboys once he came on. Youre just trying to creste excuses for plays that were DIRECTLY as a result of him..

This isn't a one off moment or game. This is his entire NRL career.
