T May been playing 14 for the majority of the year at Catalans. He hasn't been their best player. Only started at 6 due to an injury like 3 weeks ago. Carving up the shit teams in the SL that get 30 minimum put on them every week doesn't matter. It's how they deal with St Helens and the 2 or 3 other top teams that matters.
His two MoM performances were against Warrington (playing 1) and Castleford (playing 6). Castleford were mid table 5 wins 5 losses, but had won 4 straight and were coming off a win over St Helens. Definitely a decent opponent. Warrington were unbeaten having won 3 straight. He hasn't been their best player but he's done pretty well nonetheless.
Bit like for us tho. In the few freakish games edwards has had this year for us theyve given the points to others when he was so far above anyone else on ground.
Two of the 'bouncing' bombs were where our left wing or centre should have been. They were both up field. Can't expect Edwards to cover the entire backline on his own. Replaced the wrong winger and paid for it.Now I don't have that game day adrenalin:
Edwards: don't like his hesitation at times, I'd rather see him be aggressive and concede an error or something that would be easier to defend. Otherwise he seemed his usual self. No one is calling for him to be dropped or anything.
To'o: was just nice to have him back.
Luai has been terrible this year. Needs to run more like Girds was saying. Whatever just get involved, I was keen when he went to the right looking for work but it only happened once.
Cleary needs to be better at getting repeat sets and vary his kicking like he is normally so good at.
As said the bench is not working with Kenny and Salmon together.
