It saddens me to see this once great club suffer these difficulties once again.
It seems this is a regular occurrence at the Eels with massive in-fighting amongst the different groups. If you're not all heading in the same direction, this will continue to bite you on your arses.
A bloody shame if you can't get your back office in order once and for all.

As an outsider, why does this happen...continuously? You have had some of the best players in the history of the game, yet it appears they all hate each other??
Has to be disruptive to new coach and squad...

I think because of our profile we attract our fair share of hangers on, and they all want to dip their fingers in the pie and all end up pissy with each other.

This has stopped us being able to establish that culture of professionalism that would put the brakes on the hangers on culture.

I fear it won't stop until we get a private owner who can tell the hangers on to f**k off and get a life. They love the club, no doubt, but sometimes the undying love of deadshits can really hold you back. Just ask my wife.

Yes but let's not forget that there has not been another player since them ( other than Hindy so far ) that will be spoken about for their on field feats in 25 years as they are . The million dollar question is would you take the $ or would you rather be remembered as a Parra legend ? Unfortunately only Sterlo and to a lesser extent Wynny were smart enough to really cash in on their status .

I recieved my ParraFirst candidate info and policy statement through the post today. At least they're getting out there and putting themselves before the members, which the incumbent ticket do what past incumbents did - which is very little at the moment, until forced to by a challenging ticket.

I guess it comes down to what "they" means... if they simply means "fans on the other site" then fair enough. If "they" also is meant to mean one side of the election politics, then it's a broad assumption and should be challenged, and questions asked as to what agenda might cause someone to present an assumption about one side of these elections in that way?
