I'm guessing some of those are still to be cut. Surely they aren't going in with a 46 man squad

Dillon Khoury graduated? Who else moves up to NYC?

Vidal
Oloapu
Gammidge
Morris

Plus the three already listed in the squad (Fuimaono, Twal, French). Do you know any others?

Some will go to the Western Academy side after final cuts are made, appear to be deep squds, will be interesting to watch their progress

Yeah Dillon graduated, he played a game or two for Wenty in the Sydney Shield. Others that will follow: Tom Amone, Nifo Sevi, Kadince Christensen, Craig Field, and Thomas Field.

There is at least one other #academy team (SW Sydney 'Academy'?)

The reason for these teams is for spillover talent not good enough (often underage) for their club's main rep sides.

A question for those who regularly watch junior games - do you expect us to be strong in under 20's again next year ?

I see... How long have they been around for? Have they always played in the Ball and Matthews?

On a side note I was doing some research yesterday and discovered that the Roosters have won 3 of the last 7 SG Ball competitions. This statistic blew me away given they essentially have no juniors!

Further to this I noted that until this year that only 3 clubs have won the Harold Matthews in the last 12 years (Parra, Penrith and the Dogs - Newcastle won this year), yet these 3 Clubs have only gone on to win 4 SG Balls between them during the same time period. Parra has been the most successful team in the Harold Matthews in the last 12 years with 5 victories, but we have only gone on to win the SG Ball once during that time period and only twice in the last 20 years. Whereas the Roosters have won the SG Ball 4 times over the last 20 years and also been the most successful team in the SG Ball competition during this time.

Just some other issues to prove my point that we could certainly learn a thing or two from a club like the Roosters. They're obviously doing some things very well there in Bondi.
