Fuimaono is beaten on the inside but the cover defence saves him. Some good commitment from our right edge now as New Zealand hammer them through repeated plays. The Eels come up with the turnover on the last, wrapping up one final attempt to storm over.

Tom Amone provides a good carry and Brandon Raeli follows him up with a healthy gain afterwards. Dockar-Clay puts up a more composed bomb but this one is well taken by the winger.

Parra come up with a mistake from the kick retrieval as Aaron Pene is driven into touch fielding the ball. Would have liked him to show a bit more desperation there.

NZ on the attack again.

Penalty conceded on the goal line by the Eels, offside is the call.

Sloppy stuff from the Warriors as they spin the ball down their left. The come back to their right when again, they have some sloppy passing but keep the ball alive and create an overlap back on the left with some hot potato footy. Dockar-Clay makes a desperate attempt to push the NZ winger into touch but the ref points to the spot for a try.

Alex Twal, the captain it would seem is challenging the call. Leg on the line first for mine, one frame before.

And the decision is over turned!

That was close but the correct call was made in my opinion.

20m restart for the Eels.

Good run and offload from Twal, the ball comes down the right where Fuimaono makes a good run after a big right foot step.

It comes undone for the Eels on the next play with two loose passes. The first is cleaned up but Craig Field loses it forwards on the second.

Belter of a hit there from Jordan Muna! Launches himself at the runner and forces the ball loose!

Some offloads from the Eels there but they aren't really of any quality. French ends up getting tackled on the penultimate tackle. Davis runs the ball down the last and kicks into the ingoals but the kick is far too heavy.

20m restart for the Warriors and they quickly pick up a penalty.

Muna is on the hunt, putting big pressure on Clarke.

Great take from Aaron Pene there, jumping high for the ball. Looked like the NZ chaser pushed Oloapu into Pene as he came down but no penalty comes.

Still there is a penalty a couple of tackles later, Fuimaono gets us back underway.

Big minutes from Twal, he is still on despite several front row substitutions.

Ordinary set from Parra there, in my opinion. Just kept turning the ball on the inside before Dockar-Clay kicked for himself. The Warriors come away with the ball but are pinged for a little knock on at hooker.

Big chance for the Eels.

Reimis Smith takes the run from the scrum win. Raeli is taken in a good tackle on the next play. Bit of a break down in play on the third and French is forced to take the tackle.

Poor execution on the fourth now as Davis is hit for a forward pass as he links up with Miski on the left-edge sweep.

Penalty for the Warriors now, think that might have been for going on with the tackle after the held call.

No pressure is built on Parra though as the Warriors turn the ball over early in their set. Twal cleans it up and Parra begin to ruck it back out of their half.

Another run and offload for Twal, chalk up a second run for him this set. Unfortunately Denzal Tonise makes an error at dummy half and the Warriors get the ball back.

Good scrambling defence down our left there. Warriors got a favourable no-call on a tackle completion to let their 5/8 stand up and keep running. Miski and Smith combine to keep the Warriors out and get the ball back.

The Eels undo the good work though, turning the ball back over in short order. Penalty for breaking from the scrum early as well.

Clay and Oloapu show some good defence first up to make a heavy tackle but from the play-the-ball they are simply over powered but the #10, running the inside slant for his dummy half.

Too easy again. Your marker defence needs to be far better than that.

The conversion is unsuccessful.

NZ lead Parra 10-4

Good metres for the Warriors this set, they kick on the last and Davis is trapped 10m out from his goal line.

Aaron Pene comes in field for a very useful carry and Parra get the ball into the Warrior's territory for an attacking kick. Bush somewhat bizarrely goes down the right edge shortside on the last where Tui Oloapu is forced to clean up his poor pass and put a kick in. It turns out to be a decent grubber kick and Davis gets to it first but he is taken by the defence before he can promote the ball again.

NZ put an attacking kick in as the siren sounds but Davis takes it on the full and is eased into touch by a chaser.

Half Time

NZ lead Parra 10-4
