Izzard is thrown away in an attempted tackle from the kick off but the Eels don't lose any ground as a result. A high shot on the second tackle though will help the Tigers down field.

A second penalty follows immediately as lightning frames the sky behind the stadium. Crazy change in weather here.

How long until the Tigers score this set?

Not in the first few tackles at least as they Eels defend down their left first then their right.

The Eels are desperately short down their left though after 4 or 5 defenders are somehow sucked in on a single run and from the next play some sloppy ball work sees the Tigers eventually cross in the corner via their winger #24.

A Parra player has been left behind with cramps, Bush by the looks of it.

The Eels look to have finally sparked something up the middle with Kaufusi offloading to French but the ref was on point to deem it forwards.

I am inclined to agree mate. Very disappointed in what we have shown in the regulation season so far.

Lights are now on at ANZ with the fading light and as I type that Te Maire Martin dummies and runs through some flimsy defence down our left. Izzard to blame there if my eyes serve me right as Martin scores out wide on our left.

Poor call against the Eels on first look there, thought the Eels regained possession from the Tigers' offload there but the ref found a knock on.

The soft 'triangle' signage is blowing onto the field and the Tigers come up with an error with 2min on the clock.

There is a fair bit of talent in this side, but appears to lack structure, and very poor options in the 6 & 7, the 9 is ordinary too. Not much of a choice between Lussick and Bush, and they let Lusick go, so maybe we need to get th SG Ball hooker up when that season ends

Still concerned about the coaching big time, not sure taking a schools coach and putting him in charge of the NYc was the best thing to do, was questioned at the time

Twal and fuaimano are first grade prospect for 2017.
Remis smith looks ok too.Just a bit young and not physically big enough yet.
Davis made 3 bad reads in defense.Trotted to the line to many times and lacked enthusiasm. Made one nice break but no way can I see him playing first grade before 2017.
Bevan has some skill.May end up another albert kelly thou.
So those 5 are the only guys I think may have a future.
The rest I doubt would go anywhere from what I saw.Only one game thou.
