Parra to kick off in the second half.

Davis gets us underway. Adventurous stuff from the Titans as they quickly shift the ball down their left. Parra are short on numbers but stop the line break. They do however concede a penalty on the following tackle.

The Titans fails to find touch with the kick but the Eels knock the ball on for a not too dissimilar result.

Fortunately the Titans throw a loose forward pass.

Fuimaono and Davis with the early carries this set. Kaufusi centres the ball before Izzard runs it down the left.

Morris has the ball jolted loose in a good hit and the Titans have the ball back.

Decent set for the Titans but the Eels hold them out and reply with their own straight forward set. Great kick from Izzard for us though, stops on a dime in goals and a desperate kick chase just fail to get the line drop out.

Error from the Titans on halfway now. Parra with a great chance to put together an attacking set now.

Solid carry from Davis, made a half break there.

Early ball to Smtih from French, Reimis turns Miski back on the inside before French brings the ball centre field.

The Eels go back to their left where Miski is hit hard but retains possession.

Muna ends up with the ball on the last, needs to go to Smith and Miski on his last but he opts for the flashy grubber back to the right and makes a meal of it.

Titan's ball.

Titans gun for a 40/20 but don't go close to it as French fields the kick on the full.

Vidal makes a nice run down the right, breaking through two tackles and throws the off load looking for French but it is picked! Damn shame there as French was away.

And that was far too soft from the Eels.

Dart from dummy half from ~5m out as the Eels just go to sleep.

The conversion is successful.

Gold Coast lead the Parra 16-14

Oh dear, left edge just opened up there. Some one shot out and left a gaping hole.

French misses his first cover tackle of the day and the Titans look set to score as Miski runs out of gas in cover but French has come back from no where! What an incredible effort. He flies in and forces the Gold Coast winger into touch with a metre to spare!

Another error from the Eels as Anderson I believe coughs it up. Parra killing themselves here.

Titans come down left and again it is just far too easy. Muna raced up and Smith and Miski stayed back to create the gap for the Gold Coast centre.

We have struggled in the second half of late and it doesn't look like changing at the moment.

The conversion is successful.

Titans extend their lead to 22-14

55min gone.

We are getting deadset rolled through the guts. Giving up 80 metres and quick play-the-balls every set. Titans knew they just had to hang onto the ball.

Great catch from Gafa there, kick was at his ankles and he took it cleanly.

Twal is back on and fends off a defender en route to a good carry but Vidal's grubber only manages to pick out the winger and the pressure falls away.

Big metres for the Titans in reply as they steam down field and French is out of position for the first time today as the Titans kick in behind down our left. The #12 for the Titans has all the time in the world to pick up the ball to score. Things going from bad to worse with each passing set.

The conversion is successful.

Titans out to a 14 point lead, 28-14

61min gone.

More in roads for the Titans, Parra capitulating in the ruck.

They end their set with a poor kick that the Titans manage to recover and then get to a second kick that runs dead.

Davis cleans up the ball and races out to the 20m mark for a much needed kickstarting run. The Eels later get a relieving penalty that will see them go on the attack.

Muna and Twal used early before the Eels go down their right. French's pass to Gafa is a poor one but Atini again shows great hands to pick it up.

Parra attack down their left up until the last where Izzard's grubber is taken just into the field of play.

U20's is a terrible standard of footy.

Yeah, I don't how people can watch this every week. It's OK now and then to have a look at a few players, but I don't know how you could gauge too much from the Under 20s. None of them know how to defend to start with.

They are terrible. Very soft in the middle. French has some ability but is way too small. There will be lucky to be any players make the NRL from this side. They are a rabble.

For some reason Jack Anderson has the ball on the last now and he heaves it down field. Izzard was caught on the tackle prior but where was Vidal?

No line speed for the Eels and they are caught down their left when Miski fails to trust Izzard in cover. That was a straight 2-on-2 with Izzard bringing down the centre but because Miski came infield it opened up the offload to his winger and he just breezes past Abbas with French not able to stop him.

The conversion is successful.

Another flogging on the cards now as Titans lead 34-14

66min gone.

Miski nearly caught out down the left again there, this time from a grubber kick. He is slow to turn around and the Titan's winger gets a boot to it to keep the pill alive. Miski ends up taking it into touch but the Titans are ruled to have taken it into touch.

Scrum 10m out from their goal line for the Eels.

First bit of enterprising play in a while for Parra with some offloads nearly opening the Titans up but we only manage to knock it on.

Knock on from dummy half by the Titans.

10min on the clock as the Eels hold the feed to the scrum.

Some handy runs from Twal, Raeli and TTS this set. Izzard puts in a bomb of sorts with Davis in hot pursuit but he gets a checkered run to the ball and the fullback for the Titans takes it easily.

Shut the gates.

Gold Coast slice through our right edge with ease and French is turned inside out. He tries to regain the lost ground but can't stop the try from being scored.

The conversion is successful.

Titans lead 40-14.

74min gone.
