A question for the people who saw the game, what happened in the second half? Were there injuries? Ball possession? Mistakes by us?

Keebra Park lose in a nail-biter

Keebra Park players feel the pain of their narrow loss.

KEEBRA Park has lost its bid to become the first Queensland school to clinch back-to-back ARL Schoolboy Cup titles going down to Sydney's The Hills Sports High 18-14 at Suncorp Stadium today.
With one final chance after scoring in the final minutes, Keebra could not finsih the job and missed their chance for consecutive titles.
Keebra could not have wished for a better start with fullback Henare Wells crossing in their first set of six.
But a succession of errors allowed the Hills to get the better of Keebra for the rest of the half.
Allowing the Hills too many opportunites inside their own 20m, the boys from West Sydney capitalised with two tries giving them a 12-6 lead at the break.
Needing to start strongly they responded with a great set play and sent big Mosese Fotuaiki across. However, Zac Walsh missed the close range attempt, leaving Keebra behind 12-10.
Despite a mountain of possession Keebra failed to mount any real pressure and when The Hills got a chance Parramatta Toyota Cup talent Jacob Loko showed his strength to edge his side further ahead.
Jason Whebe hit the conversion to take them ahead 18-10.
But when Kurtis Rowe scored with a minute to play it looked like a dream result was on the cards only for some desperate Hills defence denying them

MountainMan, I believe the squad will largely be the same as it was at the end of last year, with a few changes; the signings of Marmin Barba, Paki Afu, Cameron Bruest and so on will change the team's structure around quite a bit.

Paki Afu is too old for NYC and is part of the 2nd tier squad I believe.

Ah ok, hmm I thought I heard he was recruited for NYC, well I guess that's good :) If the guy works hard for a full season or two at Wenty, later it would be nice to see him get the call-up.
