But, but, but in Ricky and Nolan we trust??

LOL

Seriously this mess will take years. Not months.

I have no belief either way re Ricky, but why would you blame Nolan for today's U20s? As above, only 2 of the better prospects are out there. If you threw Tanginoa, Alvaro, Masinamua et al out there we'd look a lot better. And the Raiders are close to the best team in the comp. Sometimes not having a huge junior league in your own district is actually an advantage...you get to pick and choose a bit more on an objective basis.

While I think the second last pass was well forwards, Canberra have scored an all to easy try yet again.

They find space down our left-edge on this occasion as Reuben is put into space before he links up with his centre in support who plants the ball down for another four pointer.

Cornish is off and is relieved of the kicking duties by Warboys who converts his first attempt.

Is it any coincidence that the 20's look as clueless in attack as in first grade???

Same game plan as first grade.

Brassington completes an otherwise solid set with a poor bomb that sails deep into the ingoals where it is taken safely for a 20m restart.

Welp, Parra manage to fortuitously dodge another Canberra try as one of the kick chasers is correctly ruled as offside.

Parra get a second penalty shortly after for a ruck infringement.

Now Canberra lose the ball.

Sorry if my updates are kind of bland...it is that kind of game. Canberra are either scoring easily or both teams are losing the ball simply.

Vescio makes a good dart from dummy half and was perhaps unlucky to not draw a penalty for a high shot.

On the next play Makelim has the ball raked out one-on-one but he is able to dive on the ball for six again.

Parra try to make something happen down Moeakiola's wing with a grubber kick but it trickles into touch under the careful supervision of the winger Reubens.

A penalty for Canberra off the resumption of play.

75m gone.

Parra fart around the middle of the field for a few tackles. Daoud goes left but can't make anything happen so he comes back to the middle where he is tackled.

Matterson is now on but he isn't able to spark anything as the left edge play is easily contained by Canberra.

We run it on the last but Makelim gets caught.

Parra throw out a challenge for a shoulder charge but there was nothing doing.

Canberra ball 15m out from their try line

77m gone.

Tui Kamikamica is somewhat unlucky there. Canberra kick it right into him on halfway and he can't hold onto it and is pinged for a knock on.

Canberra are already back in the sheds...

They drop the ball yet again as they attack with little intensity.

Parra look to actually threaten down the right edge as Vai Toutai nearly makes a clean break down the right sideline. There is enough pressure to bring him down though and he hurls the ball inside. It becomes another mad scramble as players from both teams are around the ball and ultimately the ref packs down a scrum for Parra.

We fail to do enough exceptional with the ball and eventually the full time siren rings out.

Full Time

Canberra 46 df. Parra 6
