Their for and against would suggest that they should have been in the 8. It's a shame they didn't quite get there this year. I hope next year all our grades fire.
Looks as if both Ava and Pj wont be with us next year .I have liked Pj for some time he has a good offload and makes a lot of metres but front row is an area we have a lot of depth in.

thats a fair amount of talent on the way out of its true
Couldn't agree more Stags. Both PJ and Ava have both had their moments but have also been easily dominated by the big boppers from Canberra, wests tigers and saints, we tend to over rate these kids a little too much,

We do indeed.
Seems every player that leaves the Eels is the next Sterlo/Kenny/Ella/Price/whoever. The fact is the last time we lost a player who went on to play at rep level (ie. Origin or international), was Willie Tonga eight years ago.
The biggest mistakes we've made as a club haven't been losing players we should have kept; it's paying big money to players we should have f**ked off ASAP.
Who have we kept that had their debut in the past 8 years that went on to represent. Is it just Tim Mannah? Surely there must be more...
Mannah and Hayne. That's it.
There's also Inu who played for the Kiwis in his rookie season and has only played another 3 games since. All the while getting paid as an international class player.
From all reports the Warriors are paying him around 270k.Wow. How much is Inu on?

Ha ha ME. You reckon because we don't know the exact figure we may as well not even discuss it?
