scores remain 4 all at halftime in what has been a good quality game for this level. Both teams are throwing the kitchen sink at each other and the young eels can feel a little unlucky not to be in front with a dubious forward pass call costing them a try.

Backrower Joshua Alhazim breaks through on the edge to put the Eels back in front. Sanders can’t convert to make it 8-6. A lot of feeling in this game.

Sneaky little dart from hooker Yehya Ayache puts the eels further ahead now. Sanders converts 14-6 after 49mins. Some great defence from the lads in the lead up.

fantastic defence on the goal line from the young eels closes out the game. Full time 14-6 and into the grand final next week to face Manly or Wests.
