Hills Bulls since U7s .
It amazes me how we have had gun juniors Hills Bulls make it to the NRL have gone onto other clubs.

None have made it at Parra. Its been going on for 20-25 years.

Wolfman, Heath L'estrange won premierships at Manly.
Luke Keary & Ryan Pap won Clive Churchill medals.

Blake Green was the last player from Hills to make his FG debut for Parra.

Yet Hills Bulls is considered one of our bigger clubs in the nursey and seem to be ignored.

“We also have Sam Polley from Oakhill who has just come back from being a runner up at the Australian touch championships and is in the Gen Blues pathway and was victorious with Parramatta at the NSW rugby championships.
“He’s also with the Parramatta Eels development and very handy. A great mobile and agile. He’s like Cam Murray.

Named as U15 Years Male Pool A Player of the Championships.

Sneaky try to win CIS the game against QLD as well.

Do they still name an Australian under 15 merit team?
The championships concluded yesterday but they have not named a team that I can see.
Parra should try to sign Ashton Large who is a hooker and in the Tigers "pathways".
NSWCIS has won for the second year in a row. There has been a shift in where the good players are going to school. A lot of the best talent going to Scots, Newington, Kings etc now.
NSWCCC has been crap the last 2 years.

Think they scrapped merit sides.

The Large brothers are exceptional talents who the Tigers will need to fit in somewhere in the years to come or decide to let Galvin go.

I wasn't even aware of Hills Sports High until the last few pages of this thread... though I rarely ventured north of Parramatta. But you're right - it doesn't seem like it's feeding much talent the Eels way in a long term sense.

FYI.the Eels have just appointed the rugby league coach at Hiils Sports High to coach the SG ball team for 2024. He was previously SGBall coach at the Bulldogs I think.
