Tepai i thought same thing Pou. I was watching him with a mate and we went to see Pauli. My mate said Pauli is lazy, done nothing this other second rower looks miles better.
But in 10 mins Pauli destroyed the team laying on 3 tries.

I think Tepai is over rated. He is just an average second rower replaceable by many others. That said, I hope he has a breakout season - he seems like he should bust tackles.

I have high hopes for French over the next few years, he's obviously got talent, but what strikes me most about him is his maturity. Got a good head on his shoulders which should let him find a solid level of consistency.

Parramatta 13's, 14's, and 15's teams dominated in all their games today against SWSAS, Canberra and Group 6, wow alot of fine young talent coming through.
NYC were very dominant over the Raiders, the middle setting a great platform for some great tries, I think it finished up 36-4 in sweltering conditions. Stand outs, Tonise, Faingaa, Keppie, Hokai, Layoun and the halfs.

Cheers mate! Shame that the first NYC trial clashed with the Nines but happy to see you list some of the core players as standouts.

Just finished watching the 9's, very impressive.
Your pretty spot on with you write up on the core players. The roll on through the middle was pretty impressive. Defence was outstanding especially in the middle with Hokai and Keppie leading the way. Johnny Fanua and Dunster also played well.

Yep, the NYC was against the Raiders, spoke to a talent/player manager. He thought the score was 30-0 ( may have missed some things as he tends to watch his players for mistakes etc)

Said Parra was v good in D , and dominant in A, so will try get some details tomorrow

I'm thinking about having steak for dinner tomorrow.

I'm also thinking about this hot chick I passed on my way home from work this evening.

Too many thoughts to write them all, sorry.

Surprised to see Schneider and Utoikamanu on the bench for Ball to start the season. Would have thought they would be starting.

Both are coming back from injuries and while neither are serious they are a little bit short on match fitness. The options in front of them are also handy players that won't just roll over and gift their spots away.
