No you didn't merkin, you said it when he was picked in Origin at the age of 20. Of course a player that young getting picked in Origin (in a position other than wing or the bench), has massive potential.

Well he was. A top 30 spot doesn't mean you're a star. I've already told you there's more top 30 spots than players good enough to play NRL. But in Loizou's defence, he hit his milestones early, and has been very good in reserve grade. That's enough for a top 30 spot at any club.
I never pick anyone as a future star. Most promising youngsters turn out to be disappointing. Examples are Moretti and Latu.
