""But I've stayed right away from it as much as possible to try to give (Kearney) every chance to succeed."
And what about Daniel Anderson Roy?

This is the DT stiring sh*t. Seriously Parra has already let Hindy go at least 1 season too long. People say he should go on his terms, well he is because last year should have been his last if you ask me but it's Hindy, we all love him and he'll always be remembered. He's 32 now and is getting behind the pace. He doesn't need to go out when he can no longer keep up. He's got nothing to prove to anyone, he's done his part.

The club must go on and whats best for the club must happen

This comment gets overlooked by those with power!

all we get is what the papers are reporting. i reckon it must be pretty f**king bad at the club for this to be happening. SK deserves to be respected and has the authority to do what he likes with recruitment etc

He should be respected but respect works both ways so perhaps he hasn't earned or has lost respect from the players... we don't really know. But saying someone should be respected just because they are your boss is a bit naive. I'm sure we've all worked for people in the past who we don't respect for whatever reason. I'd like to think the CEO and board members are also speaking to the players over what their concerns are instead of believing every word SK says about the direction they're heading.

and what about Jason Taylor?

Agreed to a point. However, I am not privy to what promises and agreements were made between DF, directors, etc, and JT.
There was no three year contract in place with JT to be broken.
He was interim.
I was keen for him to stay on as coach BUT who was to know what JT would achieve with that 2006 squad?
Hagan looked the right goods. Most of us were not aware of Hagans "mess" back then.
Wonder if DF & co knew as well????

Hagan was the reigning woodenspoon coach when signed. What Fitzi saw in him is absolutely beyond me.

Taylor took us to the semi's when it looked like we could get the spoon and we had only one fit prop I recall.

Id like to know why Shack said that.

I believe Shack was asked why he wasn't in the team and that was his response. very dumb if you ask me.

Shack should have stopped pretending to be Fui and started playing like him. Then he would have been in the team

To this day i have never understood why df signed hagan. I remember someone telling me that we were going to sign hagan and i laughed at them. No one could possibly want him as a coach unless andrew johns was part of the package. Next thing i know im eating humble pie and apologising to my mate for calling him a moron.

He should have started playing like Lasalo then he would definitely be in the team.

Hagan never looked the goods. Anyone who paid attention knew that. He picked up a good team that Warren Ryan built and brought them to their knees.

I forgot about the wooden spoon that year for the Knights - no Andrew Johns.
I know, your right, but unfortunately most of this, if not all of it, is in hindsight.

JT might have done wonders with our club, maybe he still can, put SK in charge of the Academy and JT to run top grade.

Well Lasalo is in the team due to Ben Smith's injury.
With Shack doing what he did, he will never play 1st grade again for Parra.

Sort of leaves us short of options

I always thought the reason DF rated him so much was the fact he out-coached Smith in in the 2001 GF. I remember the day it was announced Hagan signed I ran into a former Knights player who was working security at a pub and was coached by both of them, I asked him what he thought and he just said something along the lines of 'You've just gotten rid of one grub and replaced him with another'.

I have no problem with Hindy RETIRING. but if he is given the tap on the shoulder as this paper puts it then that is farcical. Even more of a farce considering big head resigned Taniela last season. Hindy at 42 and crippled with arthritis will still be better than that nuffy. Guess you have to be one of the 'lads'.

Your right, I just didn't dig deep enough to be aware of this.
Probably didn't give a stuff about Hagan & the Knights back then, he is a Queenslander you know...
