Parramatta Eels set to axe Nathan Hindmarsh in $1.5M cleanout

Well Lasalo is in the team due to Ben Smith's injury.
With Shack doing what he did, he will never play 1st grade again for Parra.

Sort of leaves us short of options

Shacks might be immature in that count, but it's even more immature of SK to not select Shacks in first grade because of a personal spat when he's clearly a better player than some of the guys he is selecting.

Your right, I just didn't dig deep enough to be aware of this.
Probably didn't give a stuff about Hagan & the Knights back then, he is a Queenslander you know...

I've run into Hagan about half a dozen times since he left the Eels. Every time I've been wearing an Eels jersey. Normally it's at the local Woolworths. He has had the same reaction every time our paths have crossed.

Looked up, saw the jersey and then looked at his feet and not made eye contact.

I've never hassled him though. Afterall, even though I blame him for damaging our club, it's not his fault he is an idiot. We don't get a say in our IQ. And yes, he is a QLD'er which is another reason I take pity on him.:D

mate, there is no way in any code that a player will be selected after having publically abused the coach. If I were coach I would do the same.

If SK plays Shack, it means it's ok to say that about the coach. SK and Parra would be a even bigger laughing stock

Would SK drop Hayne if Hayne was fit and acted like Shack, even if Jarryd said SK was a "&#@$!!!*&&^^%%$", etc, etc, to his face?

You bet he would, no player is bigger than the club

How about a coach that is out of his depth, making poor decisions with player selections and generally turning us into a laughing stock?

If it happened under these present circumstances, it could cause a rapid escalation in conflict by fans, etc, something SK and the board might not want to deal with. The way things are going, this might still happen, partiicularly if we lose the next two games.

Facebook isn't public, it's not like twitter. Silly thing to do, but not a hanging offence.

Does this also mean that no director is bigger than the club as well,
i.e, Roy, 3P, PO & the Daniel Anderson fiasco?

That's fair points Casper. No player is bigger than the club. But neither is any coach, director, chairman, CEO etc. At the end of the day the only ones who make up the the club are the fans otherwise the club wouldn't exist.

Kearney needs to stick to his guns.

If he was brought to the club with a five year cleanout plan then he should have been given a five year contract.

As for the players they don't have to respect anyone if they don't feel it. They will also be judged on their performances.

Everyone involved just need to be aware that they're accountable for their results (or at least, their perceived results), and be prepared to accept the consequences. That includes the board.

If they did not provide full disclosure as to their finances/debts during all stages of negotiation, Taylor has every right to renege. Under false pretences, if the Titans knowingly/intentionally withheld evidence/facts that could/would stop a pending employee/contractor from signing a 4 year employment contract with them (uncertainty being one of many reasons), the verbal agreement/contract between all first parties is null and void, holden for nought. The Titans must provide full-disclosure if they have any pending circumstances hanging over their heads demonstrating the possibility that they might not be unable to service their financial obligations over the the 4 year period of the employment contract. In law, there are thousands of such precedents which Taylor can use to walk away from the Titans. He could even sue them for damages if that has occurred. Bar finding another employer who'll provide similar $$$$$$, Taylor has nothing to worry about.

Exactly, we fans are the ones with the true power. It needs to be used now to make whole everything that has been stuffed up. Those boos & other emotional outpourings last night by Eels fans were seriously eerie/dark. Since I started following this club in 1962/63 (then still too young to fully comprehend the significance) I have witnessed boos before but nothing like last night. There really is a very dark emotional fan cloud hanging over our club....
1. Being dudded by the Storm, NRL, News Limited 2009 GF
2. DA being shafted
3. Not winning a GF since 1986
4. All failures/disasters since 1986 - all hopes/dreams raised & squashed near the finish line
how many semi finals we lost which we could (fans think we should) have won since around 1996 until 2009
& the 2001 & 2009 GF failures
etc, etc...

Pretty sure he's no longer at the club.

Are you concerned about all the club's ex-employees?

Concerned about wolves wearing sheeps clothing

To this day i have never understood why df signed hagan. I remember someone telling me that we were going to sign hagan and i laughed at them. No one could possibly want him as a coach unless andrew johns was part of the package. Next thing i know im eating humble pie and apologising to my mate for calling him a moron.

I was excited about Hagan coming to the club.

Just like I was excited about Anderson and then Kearney.

Hagan got the best results of the three of them but he was working with the club that Brian built. What were Anderson and Kearney given to work with? A f**king shithole, that's what.

That's why we only made the finals once in the past four years.
