You will see.

I can't wait till the club announces our new signings for 2013.

Maybe 1 media release? Actually make that 2 to be on the safe.

If your thinking we are going to sign 4 to 5 quality 1st graders, then think again.

I'd prefer if we signed 4 or 5 young fringe first graders with potential and upgrade Hayne.

We don't need established stars, we need to clean out some of the parramattitudes.

a "5 yr plan" doesn't mean the success is only planned at the end of the 5 years - its just the timeframe of the plan .... you can plan on winning the comp 3 yrs into the 5yr plan and then winning it another 2 times in the same plan :D

Hasler won his first after five years and his second in the eighth year.

maybe you're right...but now we've got some clarity with what happened instead of idiots blaming 3P directly when the guy who apparently made the call wasn't part of 3P at all.

Maybe it wasn't their idea, but they made the call. Directly on indirectly they made the call. No difference IMO.

Well if we don't replace Hindy, poore and Burt with two or three decent players, we could assume that

1. Sandow is on $550k

Or

2. Hoppa is already on the books

Or worse, both.

Hindy is on hte fox coverage of the roosters-storm game .... they asked him about what's in hte papers - and while he did the "parra sell papers" and "the players have to do it" talk and was very careful with his words, he never really outright said anything like thats all crap ... and did infact say things are not good at the club

The only benefit of letting players like Shack, Hindy, Burty, Poore, Smith going is that it will ease the pressure of the salary cap.

There were extensions in early 2011 given to a few players come into effect next year.

People thinking we will have over a million to spend need to think again.

Not to mention what Hayne is actually earning.

Who takes responsibility for that then? The only players contracted beyond this year as a result of the previous coaching staff are Hayne and Horo. The rest of the squad were either signed or retained by Kearney and co, or are uncontracted beyond this season. Please don't tell me we upgraded the contracts of players like Keating, Lasalo, Loko and Morgan to the point it's affecting our salary cap space for next season.

Hasler won his first after five years and his second in the eighth year.

Hasler was also showing improvement every year he was coaching up until they won it. Your insulting hasler by comparing the 2.

2004 they finished 10th
2005 they finished 8th
2006 they finished 5th
2007 they finished 2nd & were runners up
2008 they won the thing

Kearney is no where near haslers coaching capabilities & the team hasler took over was a worse basket case than this club is. They were a week away from going under

we can just blame ossie or someone else who's not here anymore -

Yeah lol if it's not Anderson or Hagans fault then it's Ozzies or Fitzgeralds.

Failing this it must be Duncans fault.

FMD someone is going to have to take responsibility soon.

Couple of points;
1. I think we will soon discover that PO back ended alot of contracts and there will not be $1.8m available to purchase players.
2. The threads continual point the blame in the direction of Roy and yes he might be the Chairman but is only 1 vote on board.
3. What about the other faceless people on the Board who sway depending on public opinion.
4. Two Directors (one former) instigated the DA sacking and SK recruitment and are now having that person on radio telling people that it was not the case.
5. The SK 5 year plan and Academy is fantasy land stuff, Hasler has already proven that with good coaching and preparation players and teams can improve. Our U/16 and U/18 are not in the top 8 for the first time in over 10 years, the U/18 got beat by C/Coast yesterday.
6. Yes, perhaps the Board have to accept some of the blame, but the coach is the one who coaches the team, prepares the team, picks the team.
7. Performances on the field are a reflection of preparation, coaching and player attitude..... all ingredients missing at present!

We need change in our playing and coaching ranks, 2012 is over before it really started!

I'm not a Parramatta supporter but having a young bloke in the HM squad (u16s) - they are in 5th spot (not outside the 8) and will finish the preliminary rounds with 6 wins, 1 draw (against Wests -led 16-0 with 15 to go but for unenforced errors would have won easily) 1 bye and 1 lose (close one to Newcastle). They are talented group and a real chance in the finals.

Your SG ball side are definitely disappointing.

The way I see it Parra has some extremely talented juniors but seem to select the wrong ones to move forward with into NYC and NRL. Seem to select juniors on their current size etc and don't consider the changes that will occur in their size, natural talent and their will to succeed down the track. How many Parra juniors now play for other sides who were let go.

Regards,

Shack plays front row and tight forward.

That means he has Mannah, Moimoi, Allgood, Poore and Hindmarsh ahead of him at the positions he plays.

That's right but in the game against the Cowboys Moi Moi was out and Hindy had lost 5 kgs that week and was barely fit enough to play half a game yet SK went with only 3 props. Those 3 only played 110 minutes out of a possible 160 so effectively we only had 1 prop on for 50 minutes. I thought like Shacks apparently did that this was his chance to prove himself but it seems he got the same treatment as Morts and Humble did last year.
I don't agree with Shack's response and certainly no good can come of it for him or the club, but I do understand his frustration.

Most of the players contracted past this year were extended last year when we were miles under the cap. If anything they would be front-loaded.

5. The SK 5 year plan and Academy is fantasy land stuff, Hasler has already proven that with good coaching and preparation players and teams can improve. Our U/16 and U/18 are not in the top 8 for the first time in over 10 years, the U/18 got beat by C/Coast yesterday.

That's because all our best under 18s are playing Toyota Cup. Haven't you been paying attention? The club don't care if we never win another junior competition - the priority is developing them into first graders.

We need change in our playing and coaching ranks, 2012 is over before it really started!

The season is only four games old.

We are playing worse than last year, with a better roster. Some of the team 'leaders' need to pull their f**king heads in and stay committed for their final season, whether it was their call or not.

Yes I think you are right Poupou about the contracts being frontloaded.
