I agree that we have improved out of sight in terms of playing tough, especially in the front row and early in our sets. The props and hooker have done well over all - very well in fact.

However IMO we are still missing a massive amount of punch from our backrow. Our backrowers simply don;t score tries or bust holes like other sides do.

And our third and fourth tackle runs are generally lacklustre, and with slow play the balls.

The number of times our first or second received is under pressure on fifth tackles is still a massive concern.

We have been getting out of our end ok. But I can't fairly say that our halves are playing against retreating defenses every week - or at all.

It's why I would love to see one of the props Allgood or Webb standup and make the prop position theirs.

That way, Fui out wide ala David Taylor.

I have nothing against Ben Roberts. At his best, he can produce what we need and if he is an Eel, then I will support him. Anyway, even in his poorest form, he couldn't possibly be any worse than Daniel Mortimer. Let's hope he actually gets to play a decent amount of first grade in 2012.

Running from the bench to the sideline, he still has to work on picking the right attacking lines.
He needs to watch how players like Horo, MK and Shack consistently pick their lines of attack, they always find gaps between the bench and the sideline.
