Considering how much ball we havent had in quite a few games this year and we have only been flogged twice in the Manly and Souths game (and Maybe knights), I reckon our fitness has been pretty good!!
Even games like the tigers / Sharks which we made late comebacks which probably isn’t possible if we were “undone” in the fitness department.
I also reckon it’s unlikely a fitness coach from AFL (and a highly qualified one) is just going to walk into the eels and just put the players on an AFL fitness program. He wouId have been told / and wouId know what level of fitness each player / the side require.
Players are basically tested all the time and even during the games, so even if he was a goose, surely BA wouId see the players are not getting the level of fitness required (from test results) and done something.
Wonder if the AFL dude had the same issue as BA may have - been given limited resources, thus why we have appointed someone else to help.
