Graham?? I wasn't aware we had signed another Graham .... cause you cant be talking about Ash!!!!!
....5/8 for Wentworthville maybe!!!

Well it's obvious you didn't watch him pre injury & in lower grades.

He played on one knee this year, in a position that really isn't him.

He has great passing ability, wait untill he has played there....or just watch some games of him pre injury.

you mean 1 ankle!

someone here revealed that his been playing with a pin in his ankle. He's also been suffering from stress fractures from the same foot the person also revealed that that the pin will be removed during the offseason to give himself a better chance to regain his speed from last year.

He'll come good, don't worry ;-)

I HOPE SO. We resigned him and Burt. I think the Burt signing will bite us on the ass. As Ron says you needed to see him in 2003 to see how good he was for us before that devastating injury. I think the removal of the pin can go 3 ways
1 - Come back the same or even worse
2 - Rebreak the leg
3 - Be a superstar

i admit i didn't see him in the lower grades pre injury and i think he won our rookie of the year award a few years back, however he didn't really impress me in the short time he was in first grade before his injury. i do think playing him on the wing this year was a waste of time as he is clearly not a winger, however i just think at this point 5/8 is a big ask. i could actually see him as a lock in a few years.

I'm not a medical student as I don't know what affect the removal of the pin will do, but I know it's the only chance he has to get his speed back up.

Lets just give up right now. I'm going to off myself. We've got nothing. Our players are no good. There is no hope. Goodbye.

We have a reasonable side, great foward pack & potentially great halves....but we lack penetration & depth in the backs, is that wrong for saying that??, i think it' strue.

It depends which way you look at it. We have a few up and comers. Depends with injury and where they are positoned. If i ever see Peterson named as a centre i will snap.

Ron is very right, Shit backline, We have 1 decent winger, 1 decent centre, 1 decent fullback. We gotta hope that these juniors, Davis, Mateo, etc can fill the other positions, I'd like Mateo in the other centre and Davis on the wing.

1. Mckinnon
2. Davis
3. Tahu
4. Mateo
5. Grothe

You cant argue with the power of that backline. But can Mateo play in centres? Is Josh Davis a Winger? is he ready for firsts? A interesting backline but i just cant see it being used.

Here's my backline:

1. Pearson....forget all this retirement talk, the big man will be awesome under the bombs - if only he could get to them
2. Caraige....the long awaited comback
3. Lyon....all is forgiven - pffft, yeah right
4. Chris Walker.....wow, I'd love to have him in blue and gold  - hell no!!!
5. Kusto...the perfect partner for Caraige on the wing

Graham is out best centre option for that spot - if his ankle comes good, and he gets his fitness confidence back. Otherwise it's hope and pray for a junior to shine, people... ?

Graham is a risky propisition. He should not have been playing on the wing in first grade this yr and should not be called back into first grade next year until his form warrants it.

Remember though he gets a full off season this year as opposed to coming off crutches four weeks into the season proper. ;-)
