The only juniors which I have really seen suited to Centre are Smith and ODwyer(however i fancy him as a lock). Graham has to come good for us eventually. I have a lot of faith in this kid.

Graham is NOT our ONLY option to partner Tahu in the centres - Ben Smith will do the job fine. He's got great defence too.

Yes, Smith sucked against the Tigers.

But I thought against the Sharks his defence was outstanding, particularly a few cover tackles on Rieck, who is probably quicker than Ben.

I think Smith will eventually make the starting line up. He is a good player but at this stage needs a bit more polish. His debut was good.....

I see Smith more as a late 2005 and 2006 prospect. He defeniately has the size and strength to crack first grade.

We have a reasonable side, great foward pack & potentially great halves....but we lack penetration & depth in the backs, is that wrong for saying that??, i think it' strue.

Ron is very right, sh*t backline, We have 1 decent winger, 1 decent centre, 1 decent fullback. We gotta hope that these juniors, Davis, Mateo, etc can fill the other positions, I'd like Mateo in the other centre and Davis on the wing.

You cant argue with the power of that backline. But can Mateo play in centres? Is Josh Davis a Winger? is he ready for firsts? A interesting backline but i just cant see it being used.

Ok, Davis is a centre but can surely play on the wing and Mateo, I think he would be a damaging Centre, Tonga isn't that quick either.
