Iam 18 as well but have seen a lot of the old stuff. I highly doubt he will start in 1st grade. I THINK he is still eligible for Flegg but Iam not sure because he was in the Australian schoolboys. But starting in the pack for PL would be his starting position I think. He has so much talent and is known to put on some big hits.

i dont contribute to this merkin of a forum because you all shit me to tears. the only reason i came into this thread was because ron wanted to know what i thought about his post. i hadnt been in here for ages until last night. i wasnt stroking anyones ego, i was just pointing out whos posts i actually read and whos posts i print out and piss on.

you all need to think before you post. cool down before you come in and make a thread about why this player needs to be sacked and that coach has to be sacked etc etc etc. take a tip from rons posts and actually try to be fair and objective before coming on here and slinging shit at everyone within the club.

Witt- is another player dubbed with that word " potential" but to be frank is hardly what he's made out to be?, sure he has mongrel....and plenty of it which to me is a paramount.

But i don't believe he has the ball skills to cut it, i haven't seen anything to convince me otherwise, he may need a player like Smith to come in and take soem pressure of him or start him from the bench?

As disappointing as it is, I agree with you - Mick just doesn't cut it.

It's a shame, because he knows how to kick that ball (in play and goal-kicking) so well, and has passion by the truckloads.

I think we will make the 8 for sure! We have obviously recruited well, but I think what will get us into the 8 is that the top teams won't be as dominant next year, bringing them back to the rest of the field, as they have lost quality players.

Dogs have lost their inspirational leader Price (and replaced him with Chris Armit :lol: )
Panthers have lost the NRL leading tryscorer Roberts, Girds and Martin Lang
Roosters have lost Freddy, whose leadership & experience cant be replaced, as well Hodges
Dragons have lost Riddell, Kite, Firman, Blacklock
Brisbane have lost Tallis and some of their remaining big guns are getting on in years
Melbourne have lost Kearney, Reynoldson & Howe

and yeah, i know these teams have recruited new players, but not of the same calibre or experience that they have lost. So although i think we will perform marginally better than this year, i just think the top teams wont perform as well, making for a pretty close comp me thinks!

Good point, however..........look at those clubs backlines??, they are magnificent...all of them.

If we are to be competitive with the big guns of the NRL we need too have every corner covered....so this means that not only do we need good forwards we need the backs, halves & depth aswell.

I'm now even more sceptical once i wen't through those clubs backlines.

depth is important, and it will once again come down to who has the most luck with injuries. like the dogs have had very few injuries this year, and if you were to look at their premier league side, in particular their backs, there is bugger all first grade experience there..
