Practical completion in 20 days.
Fine tuning, testing, cleaning, sanitizing and sterilization of kitchens and facilities and final painting of sections and touch ups.
But “Stowe” said all is good so we are fine.

It's gonna be tight. I went there last Friday and was amazed how many people were on site so they've certainly ramped it up. Seemed to be a lot of workers walking around not doing much though.

My thoughts exactly when I visited Saturday.
Everyone was talking at how behind they are rather than working. Taking the $ not putting in the hrs when on overtime.
Bit like our team. The stadium certainly fits

Tony is taking the credit for the centre of excellence.

Gronk, your ability to post about Abbott is legendary ( and dare I say scary), but can't see where he claimed credit. It's a statement of the commitment, but carry on. Get up meetings must be keeping you busy. Nio need to repsond as its obvious where you will go.

Who cares about touch ups on a few back offices. Aslong as the seats and turf is ready and the stores for general public then the behind scenes stuff can be done any time

Mate there's over 75 days until kickoff. Do you not think trades will not be allowed to finish their work after 20 days ?
Sure some parts of the stadium will be handed over for testing in 20 days but there will be ongoing work until the last week

Yeo, they probably just get some donus for getting it all done by the hand over date. Like an all expenses paid night out with Corey Norman and his mates.

75 days or lets say 10 weeks. If they run 6 day shifts and increase from 8 hr days to a 24hour shift its
40hours vs 144hrs. Or 3.5 times the amount of work. Lets say 3 x to allow for hand overs between shifts.
That's the best part of 30 weeks worth of work at normal pace.

And that isn't allowing for extra man power. They may of increased from 20 guys per shift to 30 as well.

Sounds like a rort to me. All the hallmarks of going over budget. I can't help feeling that short-cuts are being taken as well.

I was chatting to my neighbour this morning who is quite high up at Stowe and he said that they’re on schedule for a March handover and they have actually reduced staff onsite.
