Old mate reckons that the derby should have opened the stadium.

Tbh, most Wanderers fans don't give a shit that the Eels are opening the stadium.
What they don't want is those pricks ESFC playing there first.

How would we feel if the Bulldogs or Tigepies of Panthers played the first game at Bankwest?

Football dimensions as opposed to RL dimensions.
Football pitch pretty much same width, just a little longer, barring in-goal for RL.
I don't care about RU pitches.
And f**k, every time I see pictures like this I get a hard on.

What are the 2 low poles of yellow lights next to the posts? ... seen em in heaps of photos
I think they are portable sun beds or in other words, heat lamps mate.
They help the growth of turf by keeping the heat in the soil profile and are used extensively in England to help turf grow in the winter months.

Id say that because there is minimal sun hitting the northern end right now, the sun beds are prompting growth in that area.

Suncorp have always had problems at one end due to lack of sunlight.
It seems no stone has been left unturned at Bankwest

Well considering the Parramatta District Rugby League Club have played there since they were called the Fruit Pickers, I’d say that it would be a tad inappropriate.

Will look a lot better when the scoreboard reads Wanderers 0- Sydney FC 7.
One goal for each year since they joined A League.
