what a lovely speel but some one needs to explain to Parra City Council the difference between energy and power, solar panels cannot generate energy

National Trust says:
While it is still argued that the new Stadium does not impact on the National Trust's own Old Government House in Parramatta Park, it can be clearly seen dominating the skyline from the front steps of the building.

The Office of Environment & Heritage says that they are concerned that it's 17 storeys, so close to so many heritage buildings. Umm have you seen Parramatta lately ?

The Parramatta Park Trust are worried about ... the potential impact on the Grey-headed Flying Fox camp on Parramatta River nearby, including thorough assessment against the cumulative impacts of other current developments in the area.

Exactly ... there are all sorts of things that get upheld on f**kin heritage grounds, yet other shit will get through no worries

Makes me cranky that the National Trust object to the development because it would be viewed from the front steps of Old Government House. What about the towers to the east FFS ! :joy::rage:
