Wow, I must pay more attention. I was down there for a meeting yesterday.
Following the ANZ win for the ladies Football WC, John Holland have confirmed they will deliver the (45,000 seat) SFS in time for the 2022 NRL Grand Final.

Agree and perhaps the plans will change after last months cancellation of the ANZ refurbishment. I think it’s a touchy subject right now and will probably be left alone for a while. Why would we play the NRL GF there when all it holds is 45000 compared to ANZ stadium that holds 82000?
Thanks for clarifyingNope.
That one is currently an Adina Hotel and is staying - it is the old Post Office.
Behind it is the Parcels Shed (currently a youth hostel), which according to the Fin. Review is staying.

I know there are already two stadiums allocated in Sydney but surprised BankWest didn’t get a look in.^^^ @BBC listed the stadia for the WWC as follows.

It's clear that the NRL worked with the FFA re stadium availability. Not so much the AFL, which is no surprise.
Shocking bullshit headline. Hooper said that it was gping to be done next week anyway. The controversial surface at BankWest Stadium will be re-turfed this week after a spate of high-profile injuries were sustained in round seven of the NRL.
Roosters young guns Victor Radley and Sam Verrills, Eels playmaker Mitchell Moses, Canberra forward Corey Horsburgh and Bulldogs fullback Will Hopoate all sustained significant injuries over the course of the weekend.
Venues Live has since made the decision to re-turf the venue despite some Parramatta players suggesting they had no issue with the surface whatsoever.
The surface was due to be re-turfed in the coming weeks but after an NRL commissioned independent turf expert inspection on Saturday night the decision has been made to fast-track the move.
