Amazing whats happening. Keen to get down there for a weekend to check it out. Want to take the mrs but while we have an aging dog thats not an option. She refuses to leave him with anyone else.

Bring it down and leave it at my place. I'll look after it. I miss not having a dog.

If need tips where to eat let me know. I know Parra well.

I think they are keeping the old church that had the Bavarian in it though aren't they?

The Greek restruant near it is beat I've had. Amazing. Please try it.

There is such a thing as a roo dog, although much slimmer as they were bred from greyhounds, used for hunting roos when the numbers were very high.

Merkin below thinks that its a chook pen. Unsure who deems the Roosters the anchor tenant, when SFC and Waratahs prolly use the ground just as much. Also, it’s not as if the Roosters ever get big crowds.

Well 1960’s architecture is what it is and you need to preserve these time capsules of design. The Arcade in Parramatta and the Peters HQ below were considered cutting edge at the time.

No you don't. They are sh*t and frankly always were sh*t. Just because something is old doesn't mean it should be preserved. Bad design and architecture is just that and these things were never anything else other then 60's-70's woeful garbage that should go by the wayside just like bellbottoms and lamb chop side burns from that same era.

So, the largest office tower in Australia (via m2 rentable space) is almost complete. 6-8 Parra Square. 225 mtrs tall.

Well, this week, the tallest in Parra was announced.
235 mtrs tall. Not as large but just as impressive, and will be filling in a hole in the middle of the city that @emjaycee mentioned a while ago.
