Yep, pretty good preparations if needed, getting through 80mins in consecutive cup games.
We're still missing Carty, but generally if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Should have stayed with the bench plan from Panthers and Manly games... just having Matterson in Carty's place (which looks like it will happen this week), and someone else in Matterson's usual 60min bench place... maybe even Makatoa/Ogden (if Greig is only seen as a max 40min role).

We'll never be any chance if Lussick has to play 80 minutes. Too much has to go right for us to win when Lussick has to play 80 minutes. I'd say we'll lose more often than not if we go into a game with a single 9 option.
Agree. It's a special player that can go 80mins in the #9 and be effective rather than plod. Lussick isn't it - and if we don't have a special player in that position, then we have to go with two, and play (actually play, not use for 5mins) an alternate from the bench.
