I hear u brother.

Resigning b smith, mk and fui is a f**king disgrace.

Smith and Keating are still NRL standard players and nowhere near their decline. Fui is well on the decline, and with his profile he wouldn't hang around for peanuts.

We need more signings like Morgan, lassalo, Roberts and tautai. Even to an extent sandow.

Every club needs players like these. Sandow would be a gun if we could get some quick play-the-balls out of our forwards - something we don't get from Fui anymore, no matter how many metres he makes.

But Morgan, Lasalo, Tautai? All cheap, all young. Good depth.

Roberts would have been perfect if we hadn't declined so much in the middle. Same as Sandow.

f**k me, we could win a comp or two with those type of players.

We won't be winning any comps until we get the balance of our salary cap right. For starters that means spending less on average forwards.

i voted for Jason Taylor

he is a good tactician, knows the game and he did an okay job at the Bunnies as a rookie coach, had some issues around some things like running his bench from memory but i reckon he can coach NRL and would be a good signing

im not privvy to what went on at Souths except for what was made public and i dont know if he ever had issues with his players but he seemed to have Souths competitive as he did with Parra when he took them over from Smithy before that

the thing is though, if the Eels are planning on letting Mooks go they need to let it be known purely for recruitment as with Hindy and Burty finishing up and Poore and possibly a few others being let go the quality of free agent on the market to replace them atm is diminishing

it is actually starting to look like SK will be kept on to see out his contract anyway unless Rick Stuart agrees to go to Parra as keeps getting suggested

I still maintain that Taylor would be the best and most inexpensive bet. (Especially when you consider that we will have to pay out Kearney's final year)

I agree with you there. The more SK has a say in recruitment and retention over the next few weeks, the more likely he is too stay.:x:x:x

Add to that the club have agreed, upon his suggestion, to employ one of his mates and former mentors in a consultancy role it seems it's more than likely unfortunately.

What about Justin Morgan? He was able to get Hull KR into the main league. Though I guess he is the assistant at Raiders and might get the job there if they punt Furner.

Stuart will be the pea if David gives it away before his contract expires.

LOL Mick Potter was sacked and then told that he could work for free if he wanted cos there was no money. Bradford are playing a home game this week without a coach.

I bet the Receiver is getting paid !
