No, i give Brian Smith every amount of respect, i was being pedantic. Sorry mate... I would seriously love Parra to get a coach who can do what Smithy did for us. He picked us up from 13th in 1996 to 3rd in 1997. Plus all the juniors he brought through in the time. I don't knock him at all.

We don't even have that poor a squad. We may not have a squad capable of being premiership contendors... but our squad is far better than a team that is outright last and with the abysmal defence that we have.

Its OK brother. I'd give anything to have a man like Smithy back. I regret ever being critical of him.

Do you think maybe it took a year for those players to gel?

Didn't we just have a spending spree? We bought a current test centre and a halfback for half a million ? Do you want to give them another year to gel under Kearney or change the coach ?

Plus Blair and Kelly (and Roberts). The only backline players from last year are Hayne and Burt, plus Morgan on a part-time basis.

It could be that these players need time to form a combination.

Do you want to give them another year to gel under Kearney or change the coach ?

I would like us to eliminate variables one by one so we can know for sure where the problem is.

Neither am I. I supported him last year. However after this year most sane and rational people who don't want to dissect every point want him to go. Anyway it won't matter what we think. However let me tell you something, Kearney will not be here in 2013. Not a chance in hell. Put your house on it.

With Kearney's sacking imminent I wonder who will it be ? Probably time for people like my buddy, stagger and Colonel to vote ? Even Suity and Pou need to get off the fence. Come on boys decision time!!! :D

Yes, that`s okay. And it`s not rocket science. The trouble is that, with a coach who is not getting on-field success (9 from 41, remember?), we are actually creating another problem. One that could end up being bigger and more significant than the problems we already had.

Agree. I put him in the ignore list along time ago with his mate boxy

On another note did anyone read the article with craig bellamy in the paper today. If there is a chance of snagging him now is the time.

Well if we go ahead and ditch this coach (that has never been within cooee of NRL standard), then that's the most important variable that we can eliminate then and there!
