Broncos will re-sign Pangai Jr & Haas.
If there is enough interest in both players from other clubs, maybe the Broncos will only land one and we the other.

I will get back to you in 2 or 3 years time and remind you how much of a bargain Haas would have been at 700K a season. You're a good judge of talent? The kid is a big boy, no doubt, but he was running through kids his age and much smaller. That's why he looked so good in the lower grades. NRL is a different ball game.
700k a season is ludicrous. Even if you're right and he becomes a great player you'd a dud businessman; that kind of money for a bloke who's just debuted f**ks salary caps.
You misunderstand the point I was making.

I don't think you could hold your breath for 2 or 3 years either.I won’t hold my breath
We should be used to this. There is a long list of players we have not signed over the years who have gone on to do well. However, in this case I'm fairly sure we have the coin and we definitely have a spot for him. Just imagine:I don't think you could hold your breath for 2 or 3 years either.
The problems not with our young players it is entirely with the coaches. The problem is that both of these young Broncos forwards are far more advanced than the young forwards we have sitting in the ISP. The idea is to have ready replacements and a good rotation. We have a good NRL side and very little backup. Millward needs to pull his figure out and make the moves that will benefit the Dragons. The Broncos surely could not afford both if we offered both big bucks with the thought that we would only buy one.
Possum they have too much third party $$$$ for us to compete. We should be used to this. There is a long list of players we have not signed over the years who have gone on to do well. However, in this case I'm fairly sure we have the coin and we definitely have a spot for him. Just imagine:
Vaughan
Graham
Ah Mau
Haas
Lawrie
Kerr
Now there is a great rotation and depth for when Graham hangs up his boots. Millward should let Haas's manager know we are extremely interested. At worst we would bump up his price and cause havoc with the Bronco's salary cap.
Surely, his manager can find a third party sponsor for him. The upside for him would be he is playing with the best pack in the comp.Possum they have too much third party $$$$ for us to compete.
In Sydney possum, the third parties all go to the RoRters in the bondi area. Not many businesses in our area have an extra 400k a year for 4 yrs available.Surely, his manager can find a third party sponsor for him. The upside for him would be he is playing with the best pack in the comp.
lolGot shown up last night. Played with men and got belted. Then got hurt.
lol
For starters he got checked in his run, that put him off balance, he then collected Klemmer at the point of his shoulder, which led to his concussion and as he was falling and being tackled, he injured his ankle. I don't see how anyone could knock him for that. lol

lolKeep convincing yourself ;-) I look forward to bumping this thread periodically...
I wouldnt be knocking the kid,Got shown up last night. Played with men and got belted. Then got hurt.
I suppose it all depends on who is making the decision on ready or not ready. Right now we are going well and to me that it the time to blood a winger or a bench forward. I would have given Robson a taste earlier or just before SOO, Melbourne is a very difficult game to give him a go unless Mary is planning to have him run on when Smith comes off.100%.
Drew.
That is way you don't rush kids who aren't ready in.
Agree with everything you say.The transition of Lomax to first grads reminds me of Dufty last season. We all knew that Dufty had the makings of a special player and his introduction to first grade. He was not rushed into the top grade and when he was you might say he was ready and he has showed us how good he is.
Lomax should be treated the same way and given game time off the bench to get him ready for first grade with the aim to play him full time in first grade. I see him as replacing Nightingale towards the end of the season.
