People tend to forget that we put this years Premiers away by 16 points in the last round of the season. That was a full strength Wests Tigers squad up against Penrith without Rhys Wesser and Tony Puletua.

We were missing Fitzhenry!! We would have won by 30 if he had of played

Look at the key play makers:-

Gower: A bees dick short of Johns. Skillfull, tough with a great foor ball brain.

Priddis: A shade better than buderus but a sh1tload more under-rated. Beat hooker/half back in the nrl.

LEWIS: You could write a test book on the way this bloke plays football. Tough and skillfull. He is a champion, Best defensive back in the game.

Champagne Comedy.. Gower is very good, Andrew Johns is a freak..

Priddis, well not too much between him and Bedsy..

but Luke Lewis..

His defence is atrocious, he goes way too low and is a fair dinkum turnstlye.. He is one of the most over rated players in the game..

The knights will have some pressure on them next season, they can make the 8 but i don't think they'll be top 4 even if they do have luck with injuries. The panthers had a strange season in 2005 (who didn't?) they lost a lot of games by only a few points, they could have easily made the finals if things went their way. They are probably the hardest side to predict for next season.

The Panthers forwards hit the Krispy Kreme donuts too hard in the last off season.. I predicted before the start of this season that they would miss the 8.. I think they will struggle to make it next year either.. Maybe 7th or 8th at best.. Newcastle will make the 8 provided Johns is fit for most of the season.

Yes, We've been sh*t for most of the year, but awesome in the last 5 games. People tend to forget that we put this years Premiers away by 16 points in the last round of the season. That was a full strength Wests Tigers squad up against Penrith without Rhys Wesser and Tony Puletua.

Yes you did. But don't you reckon when it got to 16-0 Wests Tigers they took the foot off the pedal in order to save themselves for the next week. Plus once they got to 16-0 they knew Penrith had to win by 60 points or something to knock them out of the top 4?

Penrith are the dark horse next year, but saying that you could also be down the lower end of the ladder if Campbell or Gower get injured.

Last round the Wests Tigers were playing to not get injured. Anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional.

Not only should he be in the "starting 13" he should be in the "13" Jersey as well!

For mine he would make a better Lock than a 2nd Rower. Trent Waterhouse should be a starting 2nd Rower. He's been playing out of position all year. Trent and Shane should swap jerseys.

Pantherjim.

Agreed. Waterhouse is not a lock - absolutely wasted there. Rodney would kill it at lock... he's as close to a replacement to Satts we can get at the moment.

I just want to know who saint 60 is talking about when he says we'll have a decent kicker next year?

I think he means Nick Youngquest.

Priddis better than Buderus?

Campbell is all right as our GK, but I would like to see Shane Rodney assume that role next year - he's a gun. Rodney should be in the starting 13 next year... his workrate is top notch, and is always in the play. IMO he's one of the most under rated players in the NRL, and is rep quality...

that is 1 thing i agree with 100%

I believe that Gower is better than Finch but is still behind Johns, Orford and Prince.

Priddis over Buderus? No way

1 Buderus
2 Wing (had a crap season but is deadly when in form)
3 Smith
4 Priddis

Lewis is getting alot better every season i admit but he still has a long way to go imo.

Rooney is crap and very overrated.

Penrith have bought a few ok's like youngest and Norrie, who i both rate pretty well. Stapleton? No bloody way

Penrith position 2005: 9th

What are you talking about? He joined the Roosters 2 years ago and is now off to Manly.. I am talking powderpuffs such as Joel Clinton.. Ben Ross was your best front rower and he has gone..

We all know that it comes down to injuries

Penrith could win the comp again if they have Sweet fa injuries and Youngquest and Norrie or some of the youngsters have bumper seasons. Even Souths could make the top four if they get some momentum and Sutton + Champion really go up a level.

Anything can happen but the problem with predicting things is nobody can predict what role injuries will play. Tigers kept their big four of Hodgson, Marshall, Prince and Farah on the field pretty much all season and they all played superbly which led to them winning the comp.

Some teams chances of winning the comp next year might not be all that different to their chances of winning the spoon, which shows the evenness of the comp.

Clinton made as many metres as Ross per game and the same as Skandalis but off fewer runs.

Didn't our forwards make the most yardage of any in the comp?

In the final games of the season F Puletua and Cross would steamroll over teams in the final 20 of the first half.
