A few good performers yesterday. Riley Price, Peachey, Iongi, Lipowicz and the giant number 19 had some real impact. Asu Kepaoa also was good and could easily be used in First Grade if needed.

Letoi looks like a guy who just a really good offseason to be a genuine impact option off the bench. He is a bit older but he is a beast. Get him rock hard fit and he an NRL player for sure.

Been impressed with Lipowicz the few games in cup ive watched him. Bit of Marto about him.

Lipowicz runs great lines and less errors then Martin

Just quietly Patea named as starting lock. He's obviously got good strength and speed for his size in that impact prop role but coming from Union presumably he's got a bit ball playing to be playing starting lock for us when Price is still in the team and I would assume hasn't done to bad of a job there. Obviously you want a big boy running the ball but if you make enough impact on your runs you can draw in 3 defenders and if that happens a good pass out the back should always be on if there's shape.

It's a nice skill to have. Fish has it, we don't use it much but opposition certainly know about it. Presume Smith will take that second ball playing forward role next year but nice to round these guys out even if they are run first, second and third. Aside from anything, things go to hell and you end up with the ball needing to make a play on the last and its good for all 17 guys to be able to have some game experience to fall back on.

Man that's a pretty damn good Dragons team for a cup side. Pretty tough win at reggies level to play against all those former first graders at one of their home grounds. They must have close to 300 NRL games between Bird, Ravalawa, Sloan and Egan. The more tough games like that they play the better for them.
