I think most important of all is preserving the right side. We are about to come up against the best left edge attack in the competition.

who's the smarter defender on RW - Staines or To'o? im backing Staines personally.

To'o/Tago are cousins arent they? - would be pretty awesome to see them side by side in a finals game :p

I think the best decision for the wing depends on if it's going to be one week only, or if we plan to do the same thing for the grand final when/if we make it.

I think Staines on the right makes sense if it's for the Grand Final aswell. To'o and Tago started the year out together and Brian played State of Origin on the left edge. He's a safe bet to perform on the left wing. Might be rusty early on but he will get into his groove pretty quickly.

Staines has only ever really played right wing and has played a number of games outside of Crichton so there's an existing combination to build on. Even if it has been a long time since they played together I think Staines is going to do a better job on the right wing defensively atleast.

But if May is going to be right to go. Staines should just keep his jersey warm and do his job for the week.

Theres a chance we might play parra again in the gf and if so we'll need Bizza on the right side to defend against Sivo and go low like he did in the week 1 final. I'm not sure if Charlie could do that

Charlie is a better defender than To'o. That and pace is all he has over Bizza but he reads the play much better

Charlie will be fine on the left. The less disruptions the better. We might even get to see him in a bit of open space with Kikau and Tago giving him some room.

I agree that charlie is a better defender and reads the play better, but lets be real, Sivo will swat him off like a fly. Bizza is stronger and hits hard enough to put Sivo off balance and then the scramble defence comes and shuts it down. I'd be happy to be proven wrong of course

If he's given space to wind up then sure but that won't happen

This is the best case scenario

Souths lose and take a couple of penrith players out with them
This has been Souths philosophy from a long time ago.
If you can't win the game, win the blue.
The Roosters have learned this the hard way.
They have been thrashed a number of times AND bashed at the same time 😎🐇💪
