They were the best at running up scores against trash, and they won the prize you get for that.Storm have been the best all season but I guess panthers deserve it in a Bradbury type finish

Your coach would need to announce he's gone halfway through the season.Anyone else get Dragons 09/10 vibes from this team.
Hopefully we don't shit the bed halfway through 2022.
Actually I don't give a shit if we do.
Nah, that's rubbish. No asterisk here. The bottom 14 or so teams might be weak but Penrith beat three very good sides three weeks in a row to win the comp. Apparently 'Vlandys ball' makes it easy to score points, yet Penrith conceded 4 tries in three sudden-death games in the most intense of games. Everyone had Melbourne locked in 2 weeks out, yet Penrith are the fully deserved, without any * champions.Well done Penrith. Fully deserved winning, what Gus Gould must admit is, a weak comp.
I just remember Gus Gould decried the sharks premiership as a weak comp much to my surprise, so this would definitely be one in his eyesNah, that's rubbish. No asterisk here. Take no notice of Gus Gould. Great at setting up systems, but sh!t at commentating on the game.I just remember Gus Gould decried the sharks premiership as a weak comp much to my surprise, so this would definitely be one in his eyes
At least you guys did it the hard way and beat Melb. Well done.Take no notice of Gus Gould. Great at setting up systems, but sh!t at commentating on the game.
Why thank you SB!Congrats to all the fantastic Panthers fans on here.
Commiserations to the great bunnies fans.
@The_Frog @GongPanther @Rabbits20 you can all still get f**ked.
Penrith are a great club.
First game of Rugby League I ever watched was the 1991 Grand Final, so I thought they were dominant from the get-go. Was surprised to then learn that they were battlers and that, to me, is more endearing.
Loved 2003, but they kind of rose and then fell so quick.
There's just something special about them right now. It's fitting that they won last night. I know that To'o, Luai and Crichton are polarising, but I love them. I love seeing a club with such a strong connection to their community and so many juniors winning. Obviously, as a Warriors fan, I am happy for Ivan. So yeah, if my club can't win, happy for Penrith to win.
Young black man who enjoys himselfI still don't understand how Too can be polarising.
I agree they deserved it but as an aside Vlandysball largely disappeared in the finals. 6 agains mostly got shelved and the ruck/10m were a mess.Nah, that's rubbish. No asterisk here. I really don't like going there, but its hard to think of any other possibility.Young black man who enjoys himself
