So we could have Easts and Souths backing up to play each other 2 weeks on a row, Penrith and NZ, and Manly v Cowboys. That'd be kinda cool.

With Warriors winning today the Broncos v Melbourne game could be for a spot in the Top 8, both Broncos and Warriors have a superior for and against then the Storm and the Bulldogs have almost a certain win up against Gold Coast; therefore the Penrith v Warriors game could potentially knock Melbourne out of the comp if Warriors come up with a win, which many teams would like.

Broncos beat Melbourne
Warriors beat Penrith
Bulldogs beat Gold Coast

Season over for the Storm.

I don't reckon the Warriors can beat the Panthers at home.
The time slot is rubbish for them too. 8.30pm NZ time - they nearly always look flat in late games.

No offence, but that sounds awesome. ;)

KO time is not fan or player friendly for the NZers, it's short sighted planning for the NZ fan, however after playing in this comp, the players have no excuse for fading with a kick off at 8:30 or later and if they are going to ever win a GF in this current tv deal, then KO will be closer to 10:30 NZ time

OT but I hope the next tv deal brings a return to the twilight GF KO time, considering there could potentially be 1/9th of the comp playing from NZ a night GF does very little for the profile in NZ

slip slop sliding away...

Broncos will come 8th and Panthers will finish 5th so we can knock them out first week, oh that would just about be perfect for me.

Honest question..if you finish 9th, which the odds suggest you will, will you stick around to admit your side wasn't good enough? Or will you piss on about the merits/lack thereof of other clubs?
