Not sure what the Bears will do in 2026, whether they go it alone as well but I thought you had to be aligned with an existing NRL team ?

This is my understanding too, as they had to withdraw from the HN Women's NSW Cup in 2024 due to the Storm not fielding an NRLW side.

Is there some rule in place that a club can have two feeders in the QCup and not in the NSW Cup?

That’s very good and about what I’d expect to see. Minimal change from the existing logo just a bit of a clean up / modernising it and adding a touch of WA to it.

I'm thinking that's another AI / newspaper-made mockup. The bear's head isn't centred on the shield (it's been pushed a bit to the left) and I'm guessing that red bit is meant to be a silhouette of WA ... but it's barely recognisable.
Yeh the red wa looks bear sht so probably is another ai mock up.

I’ve heard it is red & black, not sure about any white or gold/yellow, and it will be announced next week.
It will have to have a lighter colour on there, otherwise from a distance (or when it's tiny on a phone screen) it's going to be hard to see what it is properly. I'm resigned to that being white, but I'm still hopeful it will be gold.
