People across the road from us have just bought 2 pet snakes they have in their lounge room in cases right next to the TV.....they buy 2 kilo bags of frozen mice/rats that they feed them once a week with....anyone else here have a pet snake??? Call me soft but I reckon a dead snake is a good snake!

What sort of snakes?

My dad used to have a diamond python but he was big and sleepy and didn't do much. We used to give him live mice and rats from the pet shop.....

Well you said call you soft, so I did. ;-)
Yes, I can't argue with that :p

Pretty sure my neighbours don't have a license....in saying that though that doesn't mean they are doing the right thing.....it's cool watching the snake eat the mouse though...just swallows it and has this big lump in the middle of it for a day or two!

I'm petrified of snakes. So much so, that I cant even walk past them in glass enclosures without completely freaking and walking as far away as possible from them. If any of my friends or relatives had a pet snake, its safe to say that I would never visit them.

Lucky you weren't with me the other day

was walking along the bike track to mums when a brown snake decided to cross the track just ahead of us, we'd hung back to let it pass and then started moving past it (carefully) when a bike went past, scaring the hell out of the snake.

It rose up ready to strike and I had to walk past it....I like snakes but I gotta admit passing an angry brown snake without a barrier in between had me very freaked out
