The same people were saying it would never happen
The same idiots who said the dolphins was a bad idea

the goal of this thing is to get more Americans watching the nrl given the similarity to their football and the seasons don’t over lap so much

these people have little faith rugby league

I'm just having fun with it.
The reality is that the NRL are aiming to pick up as much gambling money as possible, and keep it going.
If the gambling takes off after two seasons they won't really care if they stop it, and won't be calling it a failure.

I would like to be optimistic about the gambling angle in the US… but the time difference back to the US for prime time East Coast Australia games is terrible …this is from someone who got up at 2.30am in Las Vegas to watch the 2015 NRL GF..

Yeah it is a long shot but the game is forecasting a revenue of $4b over the next 5 years. So it worth a shot

The Club's/NRL should be able to make plenty from selling travel packages. Brisbane are promoting a one week trip for $6k.

If a success, hopefully it encourages Clubs to use away games as a way to make money through travel packages. Have heard the big Super League clubs do quite well out of taking members/sponsors to Catalan games.

I've read speculation the games will be Roosters v Broncos and Rabbitohs v Sea Eagles. No word on whom will be the nominal home teams.

Home should be Brisbane, and whoever the other “home” team is at magic round between Souths/Roosters. So Souths on your match ups.

Even at 40% to the players is still $3.4 b or so. The game is flying and f**kwits like him like to find negative in everything
