How is it adding Admin? Someone or several people currently are acting as the go between at the relevant State boards.
You are stoned out of your gord, if you think there will not need to be any more personnel within the NRL to administer the distribution of funds to every grassroots footy club and or comp in Australia.

Take England where money is limited

if all the money has gone to super league clubs they would be in a stronger position

splitting up an already small money pool isn’t working
You should punch yourself repeatedly in the dick for this view.

If all the money, only goes to the top, then the top eventually dies off because there is nothing to support it.

This would have to be one of the most moronic takes in the history of LU.

Cricket hasn't needed more as it is done online. But depends on the plan.

In true Vlandys fashion it will likely become a sht show of Alpha males trying to excerpt their dominance. and end up in court and with lots of bad feeling.
Instead the ARLC and the states should be working together to identify where economies can be made, how we help support grassroots clubs better through funded national schemes that bring an economy of scale and what role all the state bodies, be independent or run by NRL will play. At the moment its just shaping up to be a horrible dog fight that will benefit no-one.

the other two divisions get a very small % of the overall revenue. 2million pound across 23 clubs. There are 7 expansion area clubs across the two leagues.
Giving 12 Sl clubs an extra 166k each wont make any difference to them. Are you really suggesting closing down 23 clubs across the UK to do that would be a good thing?
Yes

Leigh and hull kr shouldn’t have been allowed in super league

Literally the NSWRL lost a court case over the case of funding... yet still are going back to court.

We saw the leaks from QRL regards to Toowoomba...

So it isn't the NRL side of it only to blame here

Yes, but you have to understand PR's mindset -

"Anything from the NRL (good or bad) = bad/horrible

Anything from non-PVL associated entities/people = good/great". :p

To be fair, the person you responded, and numerous others on here, are the exact same just in reverse.

Closing down Hull KR would be a good thing. The club has about 5-8k active supporters.

It's insane having two clubs in a small city of 260k.

Especially as he constantly whinges that grassroots funding is lacking.....IF that is the case surely looking into ways to fix that should be a positive

They actually didn’t. They won the right to keep the board that was elected and nrl had to start the funding they had threatened to hold back, twice lol
