As much of a goose Gus can be, Rothfield just keeps making himself look like an obsessed imbecile with his repeated attacks on him. Gus tweeted a response to the whole fish and chip rubbish, didn't even mention Buzz's name. What a classy way to respond, must make Buzz feel like he's just some anonymous troll on twitter having a go at him.

Buzz then tweeted to a responder of Gus's tweet that he only lives a few km's from Gus and he had no power out. The bloke needs a restraining order, can't believe 'journalism' has sunk as low as childish, personal grudges being printed in a paper. It's embarrassing, even for the telegraph.

My mate is a die-hard Panthers supporter and has a theory about Rothefield's article after round 1, where he said the Panthers should be a top 4 side after shellacking a Knights side minus their 1, 6, 7 and 9.

He's probably trying to build up Penrith's expectations for this year so when they inevitably don't make the top 4 he can rip into Gould again. Also, in his 50 top players in the NRL, only one Panther made it in, Tyrone Peachey, one of his ex-Shark buddies.

I would go as far as saying that this is a direct indictment on Rupert Murdoch.

If the level of unprofessionalism on display here isnt corrected through the simple line management of News Ltd then ultimately it should be an obvious conclusion that Rupert is incapable of holding the position of media proprietor.

Quality media is a very important issue worldwide and Rothfield is just one more identifier of the systemic problems within News Ltd.

Hell, it wouldnt surprise me if his article on Saturday was "Gould was lining up getting drinks while Penrith scored".

Not really, I'm afraid.

In Murdoch's Media Mindworld, the Editor is God and can do no wrong.

So yeah, Buzzpoop is at his safety level for a while yet no matter how old, slow, desperate or sad he may be.

In that same little segment of crap I couldn't help but laugh at most of the stuff he had said about the Broncos. He claimed winger Lachlan Maranta would play State of Origin this year, laughable in itself, then also said that:

1. Ben Barba would have a stellar year and be back to his best (Dally M winning form?)
2. Broncos wouldn't make the 8 with Hoffman and Hunt in the halves.

The two statements seem very dumb together, when's the last time someone won the Dally M when their team finished outside the 8? Furthermore, after 2 rounds Broncos are one of only three teams undefeated. Early days yet obviously, and whilst two wins on the trot is nothing to crow about, it just goes to show, especially after his statement about Maranta, that he has f**k all idea what he is talking about.

So Buzz was on the highest rating station in Melbourne tonight (3AW), and just caned the NRL non stop.

- Said the international test was worthless
-Bagged John Grant for the Team name gaffe, then said the new AFL CEO would never make the same reading out the names of a rep team (what f**king Rep team???)
- Bagged City Country
- said NRL crowds are down 15%??
-Blatantly lied that the WSW sell out every home game. This was beyond lying it was some sort of bullshit artist contest
-Praised AFL no end

This guy should NEVER be allowed to attend any have of Rugby League ever again, the negative impacts of this c**k bashing our game to Victorians cannot be overstated.

I wish nothing but illness on the guy.

They are the AFLs core market of ageing conservative Melbournians.
