Instead of focusing on the phony prophet Nostradamus, have a look at the real prophecies of the Book of Revelation and other parts of the Bible. I believe the US should retaliate, but if they do it could lead to a war in the Middle East, the battle of Armaggedon.

Nostradamus was a madman.
His predictions are only revealed AFTER they have happened.
Predictions he made mentioning specific dates never happened.

eg:In the year 1999, and seven months, from the sky will come the great King of Terror. He will bring back to life the great king of the Mongols. Before and after War reigns happily.

Don't belive his shit for a minute.

Why should America be forced to build a security fortress around themselves to keep out the evil of terrorism? Why should money that could go toward education and health have to be spent on internal security measures because of the madmen that roam the world looking for others to inflict terror upon?

Every strategy that could emanate from this tragedy has risk attached. It's only my opinion, and I respect yours, but I think there is more risk in NOT attempting to silence the perpetrators through force, than there is in the alternatives.

Diplomacy will not solve the issue of terrorism, nor will building fortresses around ourselves. Force will not solve it either,I agree, but some use of force against the main perpetrators of this horror might at least gain some respite and time for the world leaders to take stock.

Despite the different views of posters on this thread, perhaps we are all being a bit idealistic. There is no easy answer.

You're right El Duque. I'd be pretty unhappy if my kids came home from school talking about studying Nostradamus, as someone mentioned earlier.

I've deleted that pic myself because it seemed to be too big for the page, and would have forced us to continously move the screen left-to-right to read the messages from here on in.
Sorry.

I totally agree with you Albatross.

Myfinal word on this is that I am pleased to see world leaders finally building the resolve to hunt down and exterminate these dogs and their ilkwherever they may try to hide. I also am very pleased that UN and NATOwill consider any effort by any pisspot govts to shelter the scum as an act of war and are finally prepared to deal with them accordingly. They set the rules so it will be interesting to see how they like being fought by those rules.

I notice that nowthe full consequences of what was done isnow sinking in all the dancing & cheering in the streets we have seen hasbeen rightfully replaced by fear of reprisal. I think the real onus of consideringrepercussions belong with those that did this and not with the victims of it. What on earth did they expect, that they would turn the other cheek. If that's what they believe should be done then they shouldhave turned the other cheekthemselves and not set out to muder 20,000 plus innocents. INO They have bought what is to come ontheir own heads.

Extremist? Maybe but thats how Ifeel about it.The US was never at the top of my popularity list but this has galvanisedmy full support, I have no sympathy whatever for those that perpetrated this nor their cause or reason fordoing it.

Forget about the Bible and and prophecies of Armaggedon. A certain Anglo Saxon Cleric (His name esapes me) was writing about such things in 999AD, that the renewed Vikings raids of the late 10th century were proofthat the end of the world was nigh. No doubt, somemalfunctioning Android will be making the same prediction at the end of this millenium.

The Bible has proven to be correct in regard to many prophesys in the past. I supose Rojer Ramjet, you have read the book and have back up for you claims.

The hypocritical thing I see is that a school class looking at the writings of Nostrodomous. Imagine the parental reaction if some found out their kids where studying the Bible or Koran. I supose it's the sort of hypocracy you see in main stream society today. On TripleJ, a national youth radio station, theyplay some songs with positive references to drugs, but then have had documentrys listing the dangers of such substances, and they are willing to dismiss the claims of main stream religion, yet ring up a numerologist on the issue of names.

Christians have been expecting the end of the world since the assention. The end of the world is something which is only known by God the father. The new Testament writers clearly state that it will come unexpectantly and that no one knows of the time or place.

I do have grave concerns for the crowd at Sundays game. There are certain elements of the bulldogs crowd who always make fools of themselves during the minutes silence and national anthems. I don't expect Sunday to be any different but there may be retaliations from other sections of the crowd. I think the dogs managemnet needs to make a plea to their fans so people can enjoy the game otherwise things may get out of hand, BADLY.

You make some fair points Warlock.

Though, I must ask where you got the below statement from?
".... not to mention a cold blooded murderer."
I haven't seen or read any reports of that inccident.

Nostradamus reminds me of the monkeys and the typewriters story.

Put enough of them in front of enough typewriters and teach them how to hit the keys. Eventually one of them will type a word.
